Gasol's Value in Houston, Odom's Value in NO
Well? How does the CP3 trade affect these two laker castaways? Does Pau lose or gain value?

As of now, Artest/Bynum are looking to benefit with the hole down low in LA. Odom looks to get additional minutes/value, as of now. CP3 losing some value next to Kobe. Gasol likely dropping a tiny bit (FG%) with less talent around him. We'll wait on the aftermath, though... there's bound to be some bench talent thrown into starting roles when all is said and done.

Doesn't really matter now but ...
Gasol's value would probably go up as he would be a more important piece in Houston. He would be their top player with Martin and Scola gone.
Odom's value would go down. Thanks to the triangle Odom gets a lot of touches those touches would be reduced in New Orleans. Add to that New Orleans would have Scola, who I guess would have to play center and David West. Odom is too old and slow to play SF so he'd be coming off the bench.
