Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part II)
Dwight didn't show up for workouts yesterday. He must have been in Prive with the Nets owners (hmm, where I have I heard of Prive and Nets owner before??)
Do you think Kayne was there too?

Quick dig up the CBA. In lieu of 1st pick we we should have the option of players on the team - Deron Williams and call it a day.
OMG don't tease me!!!!!!!!!!
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

If true, I just can't see Dwight as before. What a dick... Maybe God gave him the OK? :?

Wow. NJ just punked them selves... they going to have to forfeit there draft pick AND have 0 shot at dwight... and houston might have to do the same. We might end up with 2 picks and not have trade anyone...

AlexKennedyNBA: Wow! RT @Chris_Broussard Dwight Howard met with NJ owner Mikhail Prokhorov & GM Billy King Thurs in Miami. Orlando was unaware if meeting. (49 seconds ago from web)
Cmon Dwight....
If this is true then Dwight needs to go. He can't claim ignorance of the NBA rules, and this shows no respect for the Magic organization. Especially as he tells all the fans this is where he wants to be.
Send him to the highest bidder and take the Nets' picks anyway. I've lost all respect for Dwight if this is true. I understand wanting to explore options in free agency and have no problem if he wants to play somewhere else. But don't break NBA rules and go behind the team's back to try and make your escape plan. Either make your intentions known a la Carmelo or play out the season with the team that you are under contract with and then meet with other owners and GMs.
This is Lebron level of arrogance and PR stupidity.

So I go to Yahoo sports and Espn.com and don't see anything about the tampering.

Its the Magic unless it says something about, <insert Magic star player> being traded, we're not going to get any good press. b/c if the tampering charges do go through, best believe the Nets and Rockets organizations are going to get hammered.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

Scotty are the dilithium crystals crystals ready yet? We need warp drive to break out of the NBA Rumour vortex. Tampering charges? Now scotty now.

Otis: "OK Dwight...you are gonna lure that Commi bastard down Prok, meet up, and film it secretly, and then we will file tampering charges with the league! Then they'll be forced to give us killer draft picks for next years awesome draft! Talent comin baaaaaaaaaaaaby"
