The players are their own worst enemy and are destroying parity ... in other words, they consistently opt to the least path of least resistance by migrating to the larger mecca's to win a title. They have that choice, but it shows they do not understand the long-term stability and growth capability.
All I can say about this is have better management. Nobody would be whining and b*tching if they had the capable management team that can put players around their center piece.
Parity is for the weak. Thats like saying how come he gets 1 million dollars and I don't. The business world doesn't work like that buddy.
