hmm. So the magic may have proof but will not go through with an action if NJ agrees to back off, because Dwight being suspended is not working in ORL favor. This story is just unbelievable.

So no charges against the Rockets, and possilbe against the Nets. They're probably trying to get some proof together.

lol... I can't believe this happened

I mean, it's one thing that we all saw the BS yesterday... but when I went to sleep, I had a feeling the league would cover it up and nothing would leak out

Thankfully Santa came a bit early for us, and the report of D12 and Nets' owner meeting in Miami came out... that's the straw that broke the camel's back... no going back now... everything that happened in the past 24hrs will be investigated... and unfortunately for everyone involved (stern, LA, NOH, Houston, nets owner, Dwight, CP3) will be in trouble.. big time imo.. the timeline and pieces fit too perfectly.. you don't even need detective dan on the case to figure this out.. everyone here is an automatic sherlock at this point. lol too obvious... i'm laughing, but it's sad really. shame.

Who knows what's going on, but I would be happy if we filed tampering charges. 24 hours ago I hated Stern, now the guy is moving up if he brings the hammer down on the Nets.

Stern is still a crook in my eyes. Trying to set LA up for years with that CP3 deal. But I will say this... he caved under the owners pressure. Glad he did.

If I'm the NBA and trying to sell the Hornets and I know CP3 is a goner, I just let him walk. Less contracts on the books lowers the asking price for the team. Not like Scola and Martin are going to raise the asking price for the franchise. Plus, Stern "wins" because he can force CP3 to go into free agency and sign with another team for less money.

When it happened (the minute it happened, those of us who were here who witnessed it), Marc Stein said and reports came out that the owners stopped it. Which they did.

The owners pressured Stern to stop the deal. Stern wanted to make the deal happen. Hell, it was OFFICIAL, ready and done. Stern was ready to ship CP3 off to LA (good business for the NBA right? Kind of unethical. Gift-wrapped deal, and totally unfair to all teams, regardless of what ESPN is feeding you right now. ESPN is pissed cuz their hometown team finally got rejected for once). Stern owns the Hornet essentially. But pressure from the owners (like Dan GIlbert's letter) forced Stern to back off and cancel the deal. Then Stern's PR team came out and said he cancelled the deal on his own volition. When in fact it was the owners. Stern wanted CP3 in LA. And he wanted LA to have enough room to go after Howard in the summer. It was massive bull.

Stern was just saving face and his a**. And now CP3 is suing him. Good.

The story you'll hear from now on and ESPN is that Stern stopped the deal (like it was his true motive to do so, on his accord, which is false... he caved in, thankfully). His true motive was to hook LA up with another gift-wrapped present, and help in their plans to get Howard in the summer (financially).

That said... Brussard is sticking to his sources.

Dwight was there... sorry... Broussard said multiple sources saw Dwight w/ King and Prokhorov... it happens to the best of athletes.

Plans went south for Dwight. But I'll still forgive him if he stays with us. We're all human. Let's get this Iggy deal done, and bring in Davis. Let's go!

LOL I'm sick and tired of teams like Lakers always pilfering smaller market and mid market teams of their stars cause they are the lakers and get away with it. They always get gift wrapped stars to keep their team up there and be tops. Espn and others are just pissed that their number 1 team got caught this time doing so in trying to rape and pillage another small market team, but got called out by the other owners and forced to nix the deal. People knew that Lakers plan was to pillage NO for paul by not having to give up enough of their assests which wont affect their plan to use those other assets to also pillage the magic of D12. So that they can make a super team with Kobe, Paul and D12 while having salary cap to get more players to help support. BS IMO. and glad owners like Gilbert called them out.

Brussard is a closet laker fan. Dude is a small market team hater.

Wow if this is true what a *$#@ move by Dwight. If he wants out he could have waited to do it the right way. Orlando Fans deserve better than this.... Wish you guys luck
