I mean, it's one thing that we all saw the BS yesterday... but when I went to sleep, I had a feeling the league would cover it up and nothing would leak out

Thankfully Santa came a bit early for us, and the report of D12 and Nets' owner meeting in Miami came out... that's the straw that broke the camel's back... no going back now... everything that happened in the past 24hrs will be investigated... and unfortunately for everyone involved (stern, LA, NOH, Houston, nets owner, Dwight, CP3) will be in trouble.. big time imo.. the timeline and pieces fit too perfectly.. you don't even need detective dan on the case to figure this out.. everyone here is an automatic sherlock at this point. lol too obvious... i'm laughing, but it's sad really. shame.

The NBA has been corrupt for years. Any one with common sense could have told you that. Now it is going public and giving the league a massive black eye IMO. I just wonder how many fans have they lost in the last 2 days due to their WWE tactics?

I think the biggest ironic (or fitting) part of this whole thing... was the fact that the players were just ratifying the new CBA while the whole debacle (LA/CP3, Howard/Nets, Stern) was going on. What a bunch of hypocrites... real change and competitive balance for small market teams my ***

Is Magical really more reliable? I know he had a rep before, but now idk. I hope he's right in this case

Not sure if he works at RDV or what.

He is the one that said we had made the trade for CP3 2 years ago and everyone killed RevTy when he relayed it and it didn't happen.

Of course now we all know that he was right, the Hornets agreed and then backed out of the trade like he said.

Instead of going through others now, he just uses twitter to pass info along.

If we can some how get Iggy, we would have our SG, PF and C positions locked down. The only other two spots to improve would be PG and SF. I like Nelson, but if we could get Ellis or Williams, you obviously trade him.

At this point it probably would've been better for everyone involved, NBA included, if New Orleans had made that deal.

Big Baby's deal w/the Magic would be for 4 seasons and would not include a player or team option. A straight 4-year deal.

Is Otis the only GM handing out bad contracts to garbage players? WTF! You'd think he would've learned from Duhon mistake last season.

Steve Kerr was just on sportscenter, he can't believe Stern nixed the CP3 trade. Kerr believes it was a great trade for the NBA.

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/217228/Nets_Close_To_Signing_Nene
The Nets are close to acquiring Nene, according to a source. Adrian Wojnarowski reports the Nets will offer Nene a four-year deal worth between $60 million and $65 million.

It’s unclear if signing Nene would take the Nets out of the running for Dwight Howard.

After the team missed out on Tyson Chandler, they increased their offer for Nene.

The Pacers, Rockets, Warriors and Nuggets have also been in on Nene talks.

This is great

Hughes is a camp invite, don't see him making the roster.
