If that is true, that is very interesting. Could he be on the block?

I don't think he is reversing anything. Just because the owners denied the first trade, doesn't mean that the 3 teams can't come up with a better trade. IMO Bynum will need to be thrown into the pot for it to work, as in Bynum will need to go to the Hornets.

That's why Dan Gilbert's assessment of that trade was pure gold, how you trade for Paul, and still get below the cap, in retrospect it was a bad deal, Lakers totally win that deal by a long shot, still cap room to sign another star. its pure BS. they better not reverse it.

Mark Cuban on the CP3/LA deal http://lakersblog.latimes.com/lakersblo ... trade.html
"I wouldn't have been happy, but I would have understood because it was a conversation a lot of owners had long before the Laker deal was consummated," Cuban said. "It was like, 'Look, sure, I'd love him. Give [Paul] to me in a heartbeat.' But the whole idea of the lockout was to prevent stuff like that.

"Players will always have the right to choose what they want to do as a free agent, but the players agreed to rules that said, 'You know what? Let's give the home team, the incumbent team, an extra advantage.' And that's how the rules were designed. I think they're going to work."

Actually we are now under the cap. We currently have about a 55 million dollar cap. Otis could simply trade away Nelson, Redick and Hedo for expirings and draft picks to slash 25 million from that, which could equate to 30 million in cap space if the cap goes up to the supposed 60 million mark next year.

I like Monta, but I'd go with option 2. And Davis will start at the 4 IMO
