Everyone Unhappy!

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Fri Dec 9, 2011 6:35 pm

When the NBA reached their CBA everyone was happy, but now everyone mad and unhappy:

Chris Paul mad about not going to Lakers, Lakers unhappy, Odom and Gasol feel unwanted by the Lakers as well as Scola and Martin return to a team that did not want them. Every NBA player now hates David Stern with Danny Granger now naming himself "Sterns Bitch".

Orlando Magic unhappy with tampering charges by Nets and Rockets. This is going to make Howard unhappy when Stern will not allow him to be traded to either the Nets or the Rockets.

Billups unhappy he is getting let go from Knicks so that the Knicks can sign Chandler who left Dallas making the Mavs unhappy bc they have a donut hole in the middle of their defense.

Jazz fans unhappy the team signed Jamal Tinsley as a back up PG while the Knicks are unhappy because they wanted to sign Tinsely as their starting PG. Now that Tinsely knows that maybe hes unhappy he signed with the Jazz instead of the Knicks.

Al Jefferson is unhappy bc his cougar girlfriend beat him up which makes the Jazz unhappy because it means Jefferson has not toughened up his defense yet. Get phsyical on defense Al one time!

Stay tuned to the soap opera "As the NBA World Turns" which continues today!

Speaking of Al, the word is the Jazz have invited Shirley Lewis to camp to try out for a backup PG spot. They want to add some toughness and mean to that position. That's why Lewis missed her arraignment hearing.

When asked about this possibility Al said, "She is tough, no question. And luckily she's a back bitter and not a back stabber."

I would love to pick up Billups on the waiver wire.

I tried to think up a trade with NY wherein we send Harris and get Fields so we could pick up Billups. Championship experience and outside shooting would be very nice on this team.

With that said, I have no idea why Billups would sign here.

I find it funny that so many people were worried about the drama DWill might cause here with his contract situation but altho he hasn't signed an extension w/Nets there is no word about him forcing a trade or anything like that. While on a much worse team. I always felt that DWill got a bad rep b/c he wasn't a robot and spoke his mind./END OF RANT

Even if Dwill wanted to stay, I still might have done the deal as the Jazz got alot of talent in that trade. The team as situated with Dwill was never going no where but round one of the playoffs.

I'm actually pretty psyched about the pieces the team recieved for him, I just felt the need to point out how DWill has actually handled his situation compared to pretty much every other "star". I think he got a bad rap from alot of fans here who had to find a scapegoat for Sloan quitting midseason....

It wasn't because of Deron Williams that the Jazz weren't going anywhere, I'd put the blame on KOC. He caught a lot of negative attention because of the whole Sloan situation and stating publicly that he only signed a 3 year extension more or less because KOC sucks at his job. If you were Deron and you consistently seen the Jazz get worse because of terrible personnel decisions, you'd want to leave too. i.e letting Matthews go and signing Raja Bell to "take his place."

Sorry Hardway, but that's just a lot of baloney. If D-Will expected the Jazz to acquire a Howard type player before he would resign, he was full of s***. He knew it wasn't going to happen.

He's done the same thing in NJ. If NJ gets Howard, he'll stay otherwise all bets are off. Nobody can deal with that kind of thinking.

I would've been pissed too, especially letting Matthews go, but there were other questionable moves that weakened the team, like letting Maynor go -- ok, it was a salary dump, but ... also, should've chosen between Boozer and Okur, keeping them both was dumb.

How good of relationship do burks and he actually have? It could be our lead in. But at the sametime billups and harris are both starting point guards. I personally prefer harris

I don't think KOC needed to do something drastic like bring in D-12. All he had to do was bring in players that would help the Jazz continue to be competitive deep into the playoffs. The Jazz went from the Western Conference finals to being a one and done team, and that's not KOC's fault? Dwill is supposed to be ok with all these other teams making moves to get better while KOC slowly tears apart the Jazz squad that almost got to the finals?

If you're going to put all the responsability on KOC's back, might as well give him some credit for getting to the Western Conference Finals in the first place...

I gave him his props back when he did a good job, and now it's time to criticize when he is doing a horrible job. I like that he brought Earl Watson back, but signing Jamaal Tinsley? I don't get that move at all, and I didn't get the Raja Bell signing from last year either.

Nobody is perfect, Hardaway. Who would you like to hire instead of KOC?
