Should We sign Samuel Dalembert

Post#1 » by truehawksfan121 » Fri Dec 9, 2011 10:46 pm

Before free agency begin Dalembert wanted to go to a winning team. His first choice was miami, but they use part of there mid level on Shane Battier. He wanted to go to New york, they just sign tyson chandler.
Should we give him the full mid level. The move will put us just a little over the luxury tax. but a full time center will give us a better chance at winning in the playoffs. With the new revenue sharing and way the bri way the BRI were split the hawks should be able to afford to pay the tax

Too many teams with money to overpay bigs. I can't see Dalembert falling into our price range.

Yeah u right. Look they just gave tyson chandler like 15 mill a year. Thats 2 much to give someone for defense. But in free agency when u have to over pay in order to outbid other teams. Dalembert will probally get 10 mil a year. That means we have 2 look at cheap centers like kwame brown, aron gray, or someone like that.

I would prefer us to go after Nene or DeAndre Jordan! ina S&T for JC1 and picks...
