as a magic fan I would be totally satisfied with Iggy or monta and call it a day. getting in position to get under the cap and sign CP or Deron would also be a dream.

Magic CEO Martins also agreed when I said the Magic have been consistent in getting All-Stars. He said he will, "Do what it takes to win."

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part III)
per WT: Union gives NBA Monday deadline to find deal for Paul.
lol, Paul is at the discretion of the owners of the Hornets - that's the NBA. Paul doesn't get to dictate where he goes whilst he's under contract, otherwise he's setting a standard for teams having zero leverage.
i want to see Paul traded to the Clips now, just to spite the Lakers.
damn, i'd like to see Paul traded to the Wolves for nothing, just to spite HIM.

Yes. Because Magical is the most legit source out there.

I'll wait until an actual media member says anything before I go apeshiz like some other people.

I never said Magical is the most legit source. Don't put words in my mouth or posts. I said he is reliable. And you go ahead and wait for Broussard's BS.

what did he say about the Magic being consistent at recruiting washed up players? was that what it took to win?
and why does Otis still have a job when the franchise has just had to spend $60M to bail out his stupid decision??? this is like the GFC all over again - bail him out so he can go make the same stupid decisions. let's start the "Occupy Amway Arena" movement...

I saw that as well and chuckled. The entitlement these a$$ wads think they have even when they are still under contract.
If I was the owners I would get together and trade him to Indiana or some place in left field just to give him an big FU.
This is what the owners are fighting. Not the fact they can leave and go where they want when they are FAs, but the fact they think they can dictate where they go in the final year of their contract.
Since Paul is still under contract and the owners of teams have the last say on trades, the Union doesn't have a leg to stand on.

I forgot "magical" was the one to break it... eh maybe something else will pan out. I think otis has been doing what he wants and letting pride win over logic. Dwight made sh** real and now we are scrambling to make him happy.

Why? He was given an opportunity to play with one of the greatest players of all time in one of the most tradition rich NBA cities. Seems like a no brainer...

otis surprises yet again. I knew he was coming for something like this (bbd) Now we have to think of a player that no one is talking about and that is who the magic will probably trade jrich for.

The reason being is that he's filing ligitation charges, etc. don't want to show up to Camp, the fact remains, NOLA is a franchise that is ran by the NBA, regardless of the trade and where he would have been trade to, it just looks bad, he is a member of the Hornets, and he goes where he pleases as a free agent.
