With the never ending blow ups of Seo and Jackson, not to mention the poundings that Fossum takes.......I think it's time to bring up one starting pitcher for now, and maybe a 2nd by June 1.
1st choice would be Sonnanstine, he's been dominant all year and appears ready.
2nd choice is Neiman, who's been dominant at times and very consistent.
3rd choice is Hammel, who's been consistent but not dominant, and hasn't had much run support.
It's time for the Rays to make a move with Seo....he just isn't a MLB starting pitcher....

Basketball is driven by three principles:
1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

You'd think that, wouldn't you?
However......

The only saving grace I can find in this is that they know full well that Fossum and Seo are just place holders, and that they only continue to persevere with those two because they're waiting for certain triple A starters to be "ready".
However, please for the love of Christ put Seo and Fossum in the bullpen and start Corcoran and Ryu. Please.

"I can't deny [that the pair's inconsistency has made winning tough], and we're going to have to continue to work with them," Maddon said. "When it comes time to make certain moves, whenever that moment occurs, we'll all get together, Andrew [Friedman, executive vice president of baseball operations] and everybody else. But for right now, that's not what's going to happen.
"I know it's frustrating, very frustrating," Maddon continued. "In Jae Seo's last outing, he had a no-hitter through five or six, whatever it was. And he pitched a great game, and we won. Jackson's prior two starts were very good. And even though he did not get a win, he pitched well.
"It's difficult, it is difficult. I'm not going to deny that. But we're going to keep looking for answers, and when we're ready to make different moves based on different things? For right now, that's not going to happen."
