Keep your 6 year old level unoriginal thoughts to yourself. The guy is an NBA champ, finals MVP and one of the greatest team leaders of his era. It's not that black and white.

Nah. He has money to make still. It is a reminder to a crappy to not to claim him.

Who are some teams that have cap space that might claim him that are considered contenders? The Clippers don't count because they are the Clippers.

I think that the new CBA should have expanded the rosters to 25-30 players so everyone can play for a winner.

Its a tactic to get picked uP by a contender who needs a pg, Miami, lakers, etc. No one will want to be responsible for ending the great guys career so they might ask him before bidding on him and he'll just say he doesn't want to join such and such team.

Why doesn't he just sit out this year, and sign as a FA this summer with the team of his choice? Retirement seems a bit rash.

Possible Billups destinations:

Lakers
Bulls (w/RIP)
Pistons (No Stuckey)
Nuggets
Heat
Clippers

I think he would play for any of those teams.

If he comes to the Bulls with Hamilton, then I'll change my mind about both of them
