1 TPE down, 1 to go....So Wafer is getting 3 years at 1.75 or are they giving him a new, 3 year deal?

Wait 'til Otis is finished dealing. Judging from these deals there will be more to come.

Well he used the small TPE so it is ok. Once it expires it has no trade value, now Wafer can be added to a trade later.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part III)
We used one of our trade exceptions to acquire him?
Do we plan on bending over in every trade we make?

Alex Kennedy: It sounds like the final two years of Von Wafer's deal with the Magic will be non-guaranteed. 2 minutes ago
Looks like a backup to JJ for one season at least.

some light reading:
--------------
Von Wafer is going to be an issue. I preface this piece with the following information. Von Wafer is a very talented scorer. He is also a great defender. The man is quick and athletic. Danny Ainge did well in signing the man on the gamble that he could possibly help this team at some point off the bench. The problem is not in Wafer’s physical skills or basketball skill set. Wafer’s problem is above his shoulders. His head is not screwed on properly. The first signs of this were well before he even signed in Boston. Despite having a happy and solid NBA season with the Rockets in 09, Wafer left for more money overseas. I have no problem with a man getting paid more and leaving. I do have a problem with a man being miserable and not giving everything he has to his new employer that just paid him a lot of money. He became an issue and quickly was released. Wafer was also not smart enough to at least keep himself in shape. The result was he failed a physical for the Rockets a...

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part III)
This crap has taken over my last few days. I just don't understand why Dwight would want to leave. He can play in a beautiful new arena, for an owner who is willing to spend as much money as it takes and for a fan base who was there from the beginning. But, he would rather go to the fu**ing Nets?!?! What have they ever won. I don't even know anybody on that crap team besides DW, Lopez and Kardashian(because of my wife.) Why wouldn't he just say, I'm staying and we're winning championships, who's coming with me? He already gets millions from endorsements, global and is in commercials. Can he really get anymore by leaving? Wouldn't you take some satisfaction knowing you did it the right way and stayed and followed through with what you started? Wouldn't the championshipS mean more? Why isn't he recruiting DWill or CP3 to come to Orlando. DWill has been there for less than a year, he should be the one leaving.
Sorry for the rant guys, I know i'm new here. I did nothing but read twitter and realgm at work all day. I don't live in Orlando, I'm in PA, but I've been a fan since I'm 9. My mom asked me today why Dwight was leaving. Had no answer for her. She then asked if I'm going to run up in my room and rip all my posters off the wall like I did when Shaq left lol. Obviously, there aren't any posters being 28. Find it funny that she remembers how devastated I was when Shaq left. Hopefully Ellis or Iggy will make their way to Orlando someway. Please, Otis, no more (Please Use More Appropriate Word) moves!!!
