JO wants to come back

Post#1 » by salqaddoumi » Sat Dec 10, 2011 4:48 am

@SherrodbCSN: Source close to J. O'Neal said if he's traded to NOH, he'll ask to be waived, & look to sign with MIA

What do you guys think? It's a no thanks from me.

I'll take Curry in a heartbeat! Unless Curry is no longer signing here and we'll get JON instead...FML!

No thanks. He can't even provide defense now. He sucks.

I'd take him at the min for depth. Sadly I think I'd rather play Joel over him, but he could still serve a purpose. And his offense would no longer be an issue.

He's fine as a fourth or fifth big man, awful if he is top three.

I came into this thread expecting "No please, god no!" video's and the like. Our C rotation sucks that bad huh? :(

I said no way in another thread, but we still have a roster spot open right? IF we can cut him to make room for say Billups then I'm for it. He may also freak out after getting some DNP's in which case he'd also have to be cut.

By the way, I still remember him saying something along the lines of Boston having a better chance to win than the Heat after he signed w/them last year. I'm over that though.

He's still a good shotblocker. I'd take him for the minimum.

He can still shoot that 10-15ft. Block and play good Defense.
He should be the starter

Chalmer/ house??
Wade/ Battier
Bron/ Jones/Miller
Bosh/ Haslem/
J'oneal/ Joel Anthony

That's a good starting lineup, probably the best defensive team in the league.

For the minimum and a back-up, sure why not JO.

Anything else bigger than that, **** you.

yeah okay O'neal would not start over Joel or even over Pittman if spo is sane he would only have him as 3rd or 4th big man. We aren't in the 05's anymore O'neal is garbage now but still i would sign him
Heat Homer.

As a Celtics fan I'll say JO played pretty solid when healthy, even defensively. Problem was, he wasn't healthy.

He'd be alright. We have what...one roster spot left in theory? Would prefer to get Billups with that slot though. Is Kwame Brown still out there?

If Kwame wants to come, then no to JO, if not, then who else? Yes to JO.

No thanks, we have enough injuries. He wasn't even impressive when Heat were up against him in the Boston series, no threat whatsoever. I rather take my chances with Curry than sign him again...

If he could have even played average we would have had a shot at that series. I hate the guy for it and I don't want him here.
