or, send Howard + Anderson to OKC for Perkins + Harden + Ibaka. Howard would HAVE to consider resigning with them to play with Durant AND Westbrook. and, it's the kind of move that spites the other major franchises.

is it poor value? yes. is it better than an injury prone C or Brook Lopez's inflated stats? hell f'in yes!

and if Dwight wants to leave the Clips or OKC, then he can lose $40M to do so. that's the whole reason that rule was put in place, to encourage guys to stick around, not encourage them to demand their way out on their final year.

It'd be interesting to see what the Clippers would do if we offered them something like that. That Minnesota pick would be great. We'd still be terrible (kind of the point if we HAVE to lose Dwight) and would give us two solid building blocks.

Yes Yes Yes Yes. That team has potential. Although do we really need to give up Ryan or is that just a sweetener for them?

P.S. Watching the test?

I've always said... if we were to deal Howard... OKC would be my trade partners
