I'm still hoping all of this is just smoke screen and deron somehow magically is announced as a magic man when the season starts.

Dwight
Davis
heDo
Deron
Duhon

As long as D-Will doesn't demand a trade nothing will happen, he knows dwight will just join the nets during free agency, he cant do the same with us.

That can also work Magicfan we can have our own twin towers. We can also combine the two remaining draft picks( 12'nets and 13' nets) and trade up and pick up sf such as michael kidd-gilchrist.

FWIW, BS says he wants out period

http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports ... eriod.html

The Magic have given Dwight Howard’s agent the green light to shop him to three teams — Nets, Lakers and Mavericks — to see if a trade can be worked out.

In a nutshell, Howard no longer wants to be in Orlando — or play for this franchise.

Nothing says moving on like getting permission to interview with other companies in broad daylight — and with the blessing of your general manager, in this case, Otis Smith.

Sickening.

If it were only that easy, there would be 30 playoff teams. But, if the Magic did get those guys, they could spend years developing them for New York or LA to compete for championships with them. :D

The small market teams should all just revolt and say they are closing up shop. Either that or try and build the cheapest teams possible and rename them all the generals. Then they can all take revenue share from the Big teams.

There are only 5-7 elite big market teams. The league cant survive without the small market teams. They need to show them that.

This is just me but, if I were in control of the Magic the first step I would do is fire Otis Smith.

Trade Nelson, Reddick, Hedo, Q and Duhon for expirings or picks.

Do not trade Howard, let him be on a bad team, we will probably get a good pick because our roster is going to suck.

No Dwight Howard sign trade.

Why no Lopez or Bynum, big man get paid and I do not consider them to be 10+ players.

Wiggins / Exum / J. Adams
Parker / K. Anderson / Mcdermott

Winner! Let Howard walk, let Howard walk. I don't want Howard rewarded for choosing which team he wants to play on. Magic are basically telling him, pick which one of the three you want and we will let you go there. This is disgusting.

Those 3 teams really have nothing to offer, Don't give Dwight the easy way out by trading him, make him sign somewhere..unless we can find a decent offer

Really if Brock Lopez and some pointless picks are all that we can get at this point, I'd rather have another season of watching Dwight be miserable :D

I would rather suck and gamble in the lottery for a few years than linger on in mediocrity for years to come. Hell we did it before we can go through it again. I don't wan't to reward dwight with his preffered team and 30 million. I can't handle that, that would hurt more than sucking for years.

Go Orlando Generals!!!!!! Thank god Otis got us Fat Baby. Maybe he was planning on throwing a cape on him and trying to convince the fans that Superman put on some weight in the offseason?

I also would not make trades for players in Dwight`s wishlist. To make the trades happen will probably have to take on more bad contracts. We would probably make the playoffs but, the team would go to the second round and be eliminated. Dwight will come out and whine about SVG, his teammates and the city. Howard will leave and we will be stuck with a horrible and overpaid team and no Dwight.

Update on this year draft picks. Really takes alot off the table as far as getting a lotto pick for Dwight this year. Cleveland has several draft picks. They could be a good third team trade partner.

The Bulls will receive the Bobcats 1st round pick (Top 14 protected)

The Boston Celtics are owed a 1st round pick from LA Clippers. They will receive the lesser pick of The Clippers own pick or the Minny Pick.

Cleveland will get Sacramento's 1st round pick.

Utah has Golden States Pick, Minnesota has Utah's Pick.

The Nets have their own 1st round pick but cannot trade it because they traded 2011 1st round pick for Deron. The next 1st rounder they can trade is 2013.

The Nets receive Houston's 2012 1st round pick (Top 14 protected)

Houston will receive NY's 1st round pick (Top 5 protected)

And I know what I personally think of Brian Schmitz' opinion.
