These are 20-30 something millionaire men, not some fan who watches the games from the upper deck with a wife and kid.
The Knicks have sucked since Allan Houston has been on the shelf. Really? What have the Knicks won in the last 20 years? They went to the finals in the strike shortened season and that has been it.
I never said the Knicks have won a lot. I'm saying that your point about location being irrelevant is an incorrect one. There's a reason why the larger market teams happen to be the ones who attract most of the talent. Stop acting like the Big 3 would have assembled in Ohio.
