Blatantly obvious Billups strategy likely to be copied by other amnesty players. If nobody picks him, can double dip and get more $$
David Stern should step in and do his job, not allow this. Of coarse he won't though.

What can he do? Fine them for talking, but they should have known vets were not going to play nice.

The league should contract all teams and let the Lakers and Heat play in the finals every year.

at this point there is no turning back for Dwight. I am no longer focused on keeping him rather I want to get everything for him, cap reliefe, high picks, stars players i mean he is considered one of the if not the best player in the NBA. we deserve the absolute best for his return. I am just not sure Otis is competent enough to get us that. God help us.

Whats the point of even having waivers if they're doing this?

Arenas hasn't said anything stupid yet. It would terrible to see him win a ring on the heat.

I don't understand the line of thinking - can you please explain it? Why is there no turning back? Just because his agent has been given permission to see what kind of deals other teams may be willing to make? Dwight has, from all reports, not committed to any course of action. Knowing what other options are available just makes sense for all involved.

I'm just hoping someone not named Dwight is pulled from the practice court today.

I hope nothing has happened yet because there is the slight chance for teams to get CP3 if that deal isnt accepted.

followingall the events its obvious Dwight is looking to different direction. Once a superstar makes up their mind to want to leave its just a matter of time. They feel they need to go to greener pasture. To me he is done with the Magic and is exploring his options with other teams. As much as it hurts and believe me it hurts very much, we are in denial if we believe he wants to stay with the magic. I hope he will prove me wrong.
