Not important right now. Go watch this video and lay down your verdict on the blow thrown at 3:43. Fist or forearm?

Fist. easy.

it just glances off his head which is what makes it look like it bounces off like a forearm.

no forearm to the head is gonna split the dude's eyebrow.

Watch any MMA fight and you won't say that again. Forearms and elbows are like blades, they'll slice you open quick. I've been an MMA fan over 5 yrs and seen it plenty.

Just because his agent has been given permission to see what kind of deals other teams may be willing to make? Dwight has, from all reports, not committed to any course of action. Knowing what other options are available just makes sense for all involved.

followingall the events its obvious Dwight is looking to different direction. Once a superstar makes up their mind to want to leave its just a matter of time. They feel they need to go to greener pasture. To me he is done with the Magic and is exploring his options with other teams. As much as it hurts and believe me it hurts very much, we are in denial if we believe he wants to stay with the magic. I hope he will prove me wrong.
Duncan was all but signd and sealed before the admiral got to him at the lat minute. And he has been happy there, so you never know
who is our admiral, Jameer?
Lol, nah, Big Baby.

KBergCBS Ken Berger
Gilbert Arenas' reps calling around for assurances he won't be claimed off waivers, source says. Wants to become UFA and find good fit.

A good fit?

Are there any openings in the D-League?

I have a question. When we amnestied Gilbert, it put us under the cap. Then we traded Brandon Bass to Boston for Glen Davis and Von Wafer (Davis was to fill our cap room and Wafer fess for a trade exception). My question is, do we still have our Mid-Level Exception? Teams under the cap don't have one and we were under the cap when we amnestied Gilbert and then we went over the cap.

Doesn't Arenas rep himself? He fired his agent I thought. Is Gilbert literally calling GMs and asking if they want him?

Yeah he used to be under Fegan, but reps himself. It's possible he is doing it, but more likely a friend he trusts. who knows.

Rockets will send "more players" to the Hornets than before.

I thought the problem was that Los Angeles wasn't taking on enough money and not giving enough talent back, I didn't think Houston was the problem.

the good thing we can get from this whole Dwight situation is that he seems torn between his choices. Which is good because that means he hasn't made up his mind. This at least assures us that Orlando is a viable option, which is a better chance than what Denver, Cleveland and New Orleans got.

Because NJ has cap space next summer and we don't.

That's why I really want to hear them land Nene and use up that cap.

All very good points, in fact I have made the same point myself, especially the TD issue, but if memory serves correctly, his girlfriend at the time was not in love with Orlando either. The other point regarding the Dwight listening to offers are also for the team, what's in it for us is what we also need to focus on. Finally, I think if Dwight wanted to leave without questions, he could just play it out and walk at the end of the season.....but he still wants to give the Magic an opportunity to get him some help!! He wants a ship/ring and staying here getting banged on every game, while his overrated, overpaid and over the hill teammates play little to no D and can't find him on offense. Prime example, Jameers defensive assigment breaks him down, nobody rotatesw and Dwight ends up with the foul...as usual!

Even though I have all but decided to stop watching NBA basketball, this thread is still a lot of fun.
