Most baffling to @Orlando_Magic: D12's indecision. He's said to have changed mind 4 times in last 4 days about staying/leaving. Still hope?

WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!!?!

I like what I am reading. He's conflicted, which means the right roster moves could convince him to stay.

exactly.

if he can be convinced to stay, then a big move is coming.[/quote]

He requested a trade

I feel the worst for Mr. Devos. I am so pissed for him because he has done all he could to make this franchise great for the city and it is clear now the NBA intends to make us a farm team.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.
Boo.

Well let's hope we can get this bum shipped out before Christmas. I have zero interest in seeing him in a Magic uniform ever again. Get what we can in a trade and move forward! Go Magic!

He or BVW are part of the blame, Otis should have been fired after breaking up Finals team.

Why would they have a stretch / cut rule for only new contracts, but then make the same exact thing with the renegotiate and extend rule for new contracts only again? I know one cuts but it's still odd. I think its a rule for old contracts and I want 100% confirm before I say, "ok, lakers need amnesty kobe for cap space or do some downright crazy trades/make dwight sign for way less than he should." These are two separate things, the stretch/cut and reneg/extend. Orlando and the rest of the league probably liked it but forgot to see it was a huge B list item for the Lakers at this moment to get 10mil cap space off Kobe's contract.

Players can't just opt out of their current contract when said contract has no opt out option. They could add a new extension to Kobe's deal, but they can't change his existing deal just for the hell of it.

I feel betrayed by the player I've adored for the last 7 years. I have three of his jerseys. Two wobbleheads or whatever they're called. I made an extremely expensive trip to Orlando just to see him play. I had hope, after being a fan of this team for over 20 years, that this kid would be loyal to us. I thought he'd be different.

Betrayed.

If he has requested a trade, which seems to be the case now, F him. Ship him out as soon as possible. Get it over with. I don't want to see his face here. F him.

I feel ashamed.

Denton reported that he has been changing his mind all week - was willing to stay, requested a trade, backtracked, trade.....

It seems right now that he will be leaving, but I still feel that if we landed the right player(s) he could be convinced to stay.

Edit: And it's clear from the article that Otis isn't just going to do it because Dwight wants it.

I was speaking of throughout the years him being willing to spend, even before Otis, but yeah i guess there is blame for all of them.

Heat fan here. Otis needs to loos for the best possible deal for Orlando, not for Dwight. He needs to call Chicago and see if they will trade Noah/Boozer/Deng and draft picks for Dwight. Even if Dwight doesn't sign an extension you guys MUST get something, can't just stay a lottery team.

No matter what, #TeamMagic. We will find a new Superman. And we will boo Dwight louder than ever at the All Star Game. I respect what he's done, but if he's not with us, then he's against us.

One thing I love about our RealGM board. TRUE Magic fans, not bandwagon D12 fans. We will rebuild and be back someday.
