Jameer is now officially the tank commander. Don't trade him to the Lakers please.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part IV)
w/ all these rumors circulating around the Magic, plus w/ the moves we just made, I expect a very big trade to happen for the Magic. One that could send Howard out or one that brings in a very great talent for the team to pair w/ Dwight.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

I would rather ship him to the Clippers for their young players and better draft picks, but that is just me.

This is just me but, if I were in control of the Magic the first step I would do is fire Otis Smith.
Trade Nelson, Reddick, Hedo, Q and Duhon for expirings or picks.
Do not trade Howard, let him be on a bad team, we will probably get a good pick because our roster is going to suck.
No Dwight Howard sign and trade.
Why no Lopez or Bynum, their contracts are almost up, big man get paid and I do not consider them to be 14+ players.

Smart / Micic / D. Wright
Wiggins / Exum / J. Adams
Parker / K. Anderson / Mcdermott
Randle / Vonleh / Stokes

Pathetic that our only move to convince Dwight to stay was to sign Big Baby Davis. Absolutely pathetic if no other attempt is made. Why even sign Davis if he requested the trade before the signing and no other moves were in the pipe? It was nice knowing you, Otis, so long.

I agree take the best one for the Magic!
1. They must take Turk and Duhon
2. Provide quality picks
3. Cheap or tradable talent coming back.

For me as a fan... this plays out one of two ways...
One... he goes to the Lakers and I call it quits on being a Magic fan or NBA fan period.
Two... he literally goes anywhere else (including staying here) and I continue to root for the Magic.

If he really demanded a trade, screw him & his Diva attitude .. I'm gonna enjoy rooting for a team that will not include a superstar who wants "the big lights" or "the big stage" but players who respect the name that's on their jersey.

I don't feel bad for you guys because you stole Grant Hill and McGrady from us (Bulls). If it's any consolation Kobe asked to be traded to the Bulls and look where he is now. You should keep Dwight and see what comes of it. Orlando is a great place to live and if you do well this year he might stay.

I agree, send Dwight where WE get the best deal. Problem is if D12 says he's not extending with that team they lose A LOT of interest and we lose A LOT of leverage. He will get to go where he want's unfortunately.

Otis trying to get in on the big deal by screwing up NOLA plans. He wants some of the players in that deal supposedly, so he is like screw all of yall. In all this crap i just think that's a little funny.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.
Boo.
Boo.
