How does he still have a job. I wouldn't argue that Wafer is a good potential sparkplug off the bench, but uhhhhhhhhhh.
Seriously, how do you reveal that your franchise player--the best big man in the game--has asked for a trade and then say that you're still keeping him??!?!?! Otis has never revealed insider info to the media. Why in the #&#& would you start now? Then you go back and say you're thinking of keeping him? This is more embarrassing than when Buddy the Elf found out he wasn't actually an Elf. It's like we thought we were a legitimate NBA franchise and then.....gotcha!

I was almost accepting the fact that Dwight would be a Net. I can never accept it if he becomes a Laker.

Lakers probably pulling out because they know the league won't give them Paul for anything less than Bynum - is my guess.

that is testament to how good Dwight and Stan are - not the rest of the team.

They will never get it Ben Even though everyone knows the team would be lottery material over the last few years without Dwight who was signed before Otis was GM.

LeBron and Cleveland had their finals and ECF runs - were you not a fan of the NBA at that point? Miami and Wade have championships already, were you not a fan of the league then? New York and New Jersey have sucked for years, but NYK have Amare + Melo + Chandler + a future to look forward to, New Jersey have Deron + Lopez + Capspace to look forward to.

Here are some results - 0 championships. 1 superstar.

that's the results of over 7 years work from your GM. in that same time Kupchak has 3 finals appearances and 2 rings. Riley has 3 finals appearances and a ring. Ainge has 2 finals appearances and a ring. Cuban has 2 finals appearances and a ring.

how about them results?

Um...Riley has 2 finals appearances and a ring. And that ring was courtesy of Dallas choke job. Kupchak got a gift wrapped Pau Gasol from David Stern and the league. Ainge got a gift wrapped KG and Ray Allen from David Stern and the league. Mavs well...I'll give you that one.

You know once that presser went national, they were going to take notice. Their plans revealed, they abandon CP because Dwight was always the target. Now it gets interesting to see if Chi and Bos really want some, and where he will really go.

Chris paul...you mad?

I will be sick if LA gets Dwight now and somehow makes room to sign CP3 in the summer... is that even possible? I know Otis wouldn't be able to figure it out, but what about LA management?

Yeah this went to the league for approval so they agreed. They probably got a counter offer they did not like.

So Dallas just gets Odom for free pretty much. Honestly, in terms of organizations, they are really incredible. Both them and San Antonio do it right.

So to recap: Lakers take Odom out of three-team CP3 deal and deal him to Mavs into new DAL trade exception created in Tyson Chandler deal

Nope.
