ORLANDO will now pursue CP3+Ariza for Pau+Jameer+Ryan Anderson thus making a team of CP3+Bynum. then NO will flip Pau to HOU for Scola and Martin. THEN HOU will attempt to sign Nene to pair with Pau. SOMEHOW... EVERYONE ENDS UP HAPPY.
I'm not buying it as you obviously have too much faith in Otis...

Magic shouldn't talk to LA until CP3 is off the market.

Wonder how much that TPE is for.
It was a 12 mil TPE from the Chandler trade, but Odom just keeps his contract at 8.9

That's the difference between Otis and Cuban.

If this is true, I'm thinking they will give us Gasol/Bynum and get a 3rd team involved to give us more some how.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part V) NEW S
Why do people think we will go after CP3 without Dwight? That won't happen. It puts Chris in the same situation he is in now. He won't resign here without Dwight. Am i reading people right?
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.
Boo.

At this point, i don't care... I heard Dwight... I know he loves Orlando, and I know it was a hard decision for him... so the least he can do is work with the Orlando FO right now and get us the best assets back... get a 3rd or 4th team involved, and let's back some good pieces from those other teams... screw it... GO MAGIC!

So now the difference is a TPE, LOL! If we had a TPE that large, we could have done the same thing. Unfortunately we only have a mid sized one and a very small one. You can't combine them, not like it would have equaled Odom's salary any way.
But since we are on the topic, who should we go after with our 6+ million TPE, if there is really any one out there to get?
Cuban isn't a GM by the way. He is the owner and if Devos could have got Odom, he would have.

Pau/Bynum is 33.8 mil in salary, bynum has team option next year. They;d have to take back Howard, Hedo, and Duhon to make it work straight up.

Dwight will be a Laker by Monday
Oh well I would rather send him there than send him to the Nets. At least we will get something decent in return.

Pau/Bynum for D12
TPE to take Hedo
Then we flip Pau+Jameer+W/E else for CP3
the hornets dont want pau, thats why he was going to houston in that deal
I dunno about getting CP3 with that but I could see GSW taking Pau for Monta.
Maybe Philly takes Jameer & JJ for Iggy
Monta
JRich
Iggy
BBD
Bynum
Best scenario that's possible.
