Nets are tampering. Stern is tampering. Lakers, Rockets, and Hornets(???) are appealing.

Heat locked in James Jones and Mario Chalmers, after Battier, meaning they added no new centers or pg's to last years team.

Wow if the nets really did meet Dwight in Orlando that has to be in the running for dumbest move of all time. Blatant tampering. They might have lost Dwight and Deron all at once (not to mentioned however many draft picks they'll be forced to forfeit).
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Wow, looks like the Pistons waived (not amnestied) Rip Hamilton. I wonder where he'll end up.

I don't think they waived him per se. I heard he agreed to have his contract bought out. Cause it was clear Detroit wasn't going to give him the Amnesty. And I think Rip really wanted his freedom. And the right to choose where to sign. So he might have reduced his owed contract by several millions. But it wasn't a outright release.

Talk about a Blast from the past....Gerald Green agrees to a deal with the Lakers. Non-Guaranteed. More of a camp Invite.

This is funny

christomasson Just talked to Samuel Dalembert. If top choice of Houston doesn't work out, he named Golden State, Denver and Toronto as possibilities.

It would be hillarious to see Dalembert and Beidrins on the same team.

RT @ESPNSteinLine: Hearing Tyson Chandler's deal w/Knicks
WILL end up as sign-and-trade w/Mavs, but Dallas will take
back TBA low-salaried player Knicks choose

If true, that means Billups may not get the Amnesty.

daldridgetnt Source: Cektics close to deal with free agent
forward David West. Story up soon on http://t.co/9Z86fOk0.

Alex Kennedy: If the Celtics sign David West, Chris Paul may
want to sign an extension in Boston after all. 3 minutes

Hmmm, Interesting. If Boston could get West, he may convince Chris Paul to sign long term. And totally SCREW the Lakers

These responces from Chauncey Billups....

WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
For teams considering claim on Chauncey Billups, he tells
Y!: "A leader can be as disruptive as he can be
productive..This is about me now."

And this....

WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski
Billups: "People take my kindness and professionalism for
weakness. They think I’ll be OK with (getting claimed). I
won’t be OK with this."

You know what ?......FCK BILLUPS!! I don't normally ever wish for injuries to Athletes. But I HOPE this little scum buckets tears his knee up by stepping off the curb!! I mean how dare he threaten a team with being disruptive if they claim him. Oh I'm sorry Chauncey....not ALL of us get to be released from a job that will still guarantee us a one year salary of 12 + million dollars!

Odom to Dallas for 1st rounder and TPE. I wonder what the Lakers have in store, since the TPE try get for Odom isn't big enough to take Hedo. Gasol and Bynum for Howard and filler and then Nelson for the TPE in a separate deal? Doesn't make sense at this point...

Gasol/Bynum for Howard/Hedo/Nelson works. Magic could add some more salary if they want to as well.

I assume they want to use the TPE to get another big guy.

This is good. The Clippers will probably give the Hornets a better chance to rebuild with that TWolves pick, and Howard gets out of the East.

I really don't understand the logic of trading a near All-Star big man for an exception to get a big man. Maybe the Magic want more picks? Still it seems like a big gamble, especially when you consider the Mavs swept LA only 7 months ago.

Not that Paul isn't already upset but....this won't help.

If the Pacers get Crawford or Mayo along with David West they suddenly become a threat to us.
