Honestly, I love having a young defensive backcourt of TD & Fields. But Crawford brings this team much needed complementary scoring out of the back court.

The ghost of Zeke bothers me, but I'd be thrilled to get Crawford for Douglas.

Im not a huge fan but he gives us a guy that can break down defenses and pass to Chandler like he used to do with Eddy (lob passes) and another clutch shooter for the playoffs. I can live with this trade as long as SHumpert or Fields are not involved.

Toney Douglas: $1.1 million
Renaldo Balkman: $1.7 million
Bill Walker: $0.9 million
TOTAL: $3.7 million

If sent in a trade to the Hawks for Crawford, Crawford's possible first year salary would be $5.6 million ($3.7 million x 150%).

You gotta send Balkman and Douglas to the third team (GSW?) probably. Atlanta is right near the luxury tax and won't go over it for Douglas (most likely).

Douglas would be PERFECT next to Joe Johnson though.

My concern is whether Crawford is being pursued as a starting SG or starting PG?

Obviously, he's better suited for SG, but this could squeeze the roster so thin that he'd be forced to run point.

Bulls fans were happy with Carlos boozer as a free agent signing and Heat fans are pumping up Eddy Curry as the next Shaq. I don't care what any of these fanbases think. Oh yeah, who are we going to look to for points outside of Melo and Amare? Even if we expect them both to put up 25 a night? Chandler isn't that type of guy...

This team's to thin to complain about a guy that sometimes chucks the ball.. He'd clearly be a offensive threat that this team needs and would be a big boost that is still very much needed.
