1st year: $5,605,110
2nd year: $6,025,493
3rd year: $6,445,876
4th year: $6,866,259
5th year: $7,286,642

TOTAL: $32,229,380

On a side note, could we sign guys a guy like Shelden Williams to a minimum deal and include him in a sign and trade for Crawford?

i could not imagine trading Landry for him . I want Jamal back but not for Landry i highly doubt that happens.

Maybe the hawks are interested in Shawne Williams and we sign and trade him in the deal? Is that even possible?

Damn it, I totally missed that, sorry. I think Shawne Williams is the only guy left we have left on the roster we can "sign and trade" for Crawford, but I don't think we would do that.

If Crawful keeps bringing his value down tweeting about Knicks, Balkman and Walker will be enough to trade for him.

Who says it has to be a 5 year contract? I'm not into that at all.

I don't think you read my post. This is just the absolute best deal Crawford himself can get with us. The first year is at 150% of what Walker, Balkman, and Douglas make TOGETHER. You then take that total and find out what 7.5% of that is. Whatever the 7.5% is, you add that in between every year of the life of the deal.

If you want Crawford to get a 3-4 year deal with a smaller % raise, then fine, but I will not do the math for you. That's on you.

The highest we can offer is 4 years-22 million. There is no 5th year for a FA.

Atlanta can. That's why it's called sign-and-trade.

LOL easy guy, just wondering if there was a report he wanted 5 years or something.

I think in the new CBA you can only sign and trade for 4 years -- not 100% certain though.

No. We would most likely sign him and then go through the S&T options. Exactly like the Chandler situation.

They changed that rule. You no longer trade bird rights in a sign and trade meaning the contract he'd get can still only be 4 years. I'm not sure about the % increases, but they might be the same too.

But from the most recent tweets that TD isn't involved, I think it made this a whole lot less likely. Think about it, not only would Jamal's salary have to start at around only $4 mil (way under his market value IMO) but it's gonna be a lot harder to get a third team to agree to take just Walker and Balkman (it would've been easy with Douglas because he was enough incentive to take them).

I mean anything is possible I guess, but it doesn't make a whole of sense for Atlanta, the third team or Jamal anymore.
