For once this season a call goes our way this non-call could have been the game for the lions if it was called minn would have had another chance .Also to many red flags again in this game against the lions and cliff advill flagged at the 2 off sides was crazy i said her we go again..

They could have called a facemask, but a W is a W. How many of those have we been on the other end of?

I knew the game would be close with all our injuries. We had no RBs or CBs in the game and were without half our DL rotation. Alphonso Smith played his heart out. I believe Rashied Davis was playing nickleback again this week some snaps.

We got lucky with the Broncos beating the Bears in OT. With the conference tiebreak, we now basically have a two game lead over them. Still need to take care of business the next three weeks, but the Lions control their fate at this point. If they miss the playoffs, it's all on them.

@Oakland won't be a cakewalk but they are vulnerable with Palmer under center. If we can get constant pressure on him and force some TOs, we can pull out a W.

Gotta get some of our guys back healthy though. Chris Houston posted on facebook tonight that he will be back next week. We know Suh will be back. Kevin Smith might be back. All of them can help us alot.

Detroit is the only team in the NFL to beat Tebow this season

Titus young came so close to having the ball stripped when jogging into the end zone,he paid no attention to the defenders man is he green.

In the second half I thought I was watching the Millen Era Lions, trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Overall I'll take the win though, it should have been a blowout, but hey, we are 8-5 and in control.

Since Dever looks like their going into the playoffs Detroit vs Denver for the superbowl would be great.
We would destroy Tebow again i would have to tape that game.

Watched the short cut of the game and a couple things stood out:
1. The offensive line was very good for the vast majority of the game. Raiola was outstanding, backed up his tough words for the team.

2. We are overrating the defensive line. I know Suh was missing but Minnesota has a substandard line and they pretty much controlled the action. KVDB had a lousy game.

Reason defence so bad was too many injuries and too many blitzes over running the play missed tackles..

I don't get some of the blitz calls. On one play they send a corner but he goes wide, on the same side where KVDB is already going wide to try and go around the outside shoulder. When you blitz a corner you have to take the quickest route possible to the QB, or have him suck the block and get someone in close free. This crap happens too often with this team. The communication of the coaching is not working.

The Detroit Lions have released defensive tackle Jovan Haye to likely make for Ndamukong Suh on its roster.
