You've consulted, but have you listened? Where's the defensive guys? The guys who play with heart? The help for Dwight down low?

As frustrated as Stan can get... he has a thick skin for all this bs going on right now... he'll be ready to coach his *** off this season imo

Otis generally seems like a NICE guy that really has been trying to get help for Dwight and improve the franchise but is stubborn and believes that its his way or the highway. Good GM's aren't nice guys IMO and know when to be flexible at the same time.

or the young backcourt or swingman (aka a 2nd star, that's young, NOT over-the-hill) that can create his own shot and for others, and take the pressure off of dwight offensively

Stubbornness, close-mindedness, and pride/ego from Otis (and Dwight as well) are words that are starting to define this whole situation... sad

I feel like Otis is sensitive or butt-hurt over people hating/criticizing his moves (which come on, for the most part have been bad)... but some people are defensive like that... sucks that it'll be the destruction of this team

I've been gone, but has this been covered. Ridiculous.

The tactic worked and Arenas will now be able to choose his next destination. Sources with knowledge of his thinking say that Arenas -- still trying to re-establish himself after the gunplay incident in Washington during the 2009-10 season that resulted in a 30-day stay in a halfway house from April to May of 2010 -- hopes to join Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard wherever Howard is traded.

I thought this was deemed illegal ... orlando can't get Arenas back after amnestying him... correct me if I'm wrong?

edit* my mistake, read the last line wrong

Why? Because some fans are frustrated? No reason to trade him out anytime soon. Keep him on the team. See if this team can be successful. Come All-Star break, if this team has been successful up to then, throw a friggin huge extravaganza of a celebration in our shiny new arena. See if this triggers some pro-Magic attitudes with Dwight. If not. There'd be plenty of time to swing a trade before the deadline. And you'll get some desperate trades offers with teams bidding against each other.

Fans, deal with it. Put your hatred towards Otis aside. There's no rush.

I would really hate, and I'm sure a lot of us would, to see Arenas go and start for the Heat and win a ring. Not hating on him, but on Otis, cause I know a lot of us thought he should at least get a shot this season before the axe came down in the summer. Realistically, if Arenas was back to decent health, he could go to the Lakers and compete for starter.
