This whole idea that Otis has to cow-tow to every wish Dwight demands is rediculous. If Dwight wants to be GM then she should apply for the position if and when Otis is fired.

I'm not saying Otis is a good GM, we all know he isn't, but it's not Otis' job to find out who Dwight wants and go bring him in.

but it's cool for Otis to rehash every connection he ever made at Golden State?

let's not look at the guys Dwight specifically asked for, but what they bring to a team.

CP3 + Deron - legit playmaker and floor general. someone who can score points and find the open man.
Monta - go to scorer and playmaker.
SJax - Gritty defense and the ability to score big point.
Boozer - Rebounder and legit second option.
BBD - Good defense.

do we have anyone that can fill any of those roles? no. Otis can call 'duplicate talent' all he wants but no one on our roster compares to CP3/Deron (unless he's got the hide to point to Gil), no one scores like Monta, no one brings it on both ends like SJax (and that's saying a lot because i don't even rate the dude), nobody crashes boards and can hit put points on the board like Boozer.

we made one acquisition as a last ditch effort to appease Dwight, and it was the one that makes the least impact but it's too little too late.

meanwhile, Otis has been fortunate enough to rehash nearly every Golden State connection he made...

Deron Williams was asked about the CP3 trade that was nixed, called it a messed up situation.

That's game over for the Nets.

Yep. I'm guessing this means they were tampering, regardless of the evidence.

You know, there's a ton of contradiction going on. Dwight says one thing, Otis counters with another. It's pretty obvious that they're on different pages. So, with everyone knowing that and seeing it develop more and more by the moment, why isn't Alex Martins setting up a meeting with both parties to play 'mediator'?

I could be wrong, but if the air was cleared and the left hand knew exactly what the right hand was doing, who's to say Dwight even has to be traded?

anyone else notice the pattern developing between Magic management never being able to keep their superstars happy by not getting them help?

we sided with Weis and chased Tmac out of town. we chased Penny out of town (hands were tied on that one). now we're siding with Otis and chasing Dwight out of town?

Duh. But that's not what's going to happen. He's leaving either way.

lol yep. Everyone has been caught in lies, including Dwight. Yet everything he says is automatically reacted to with a negative to the FO (including Stan). This is hilarious to watch.

I think the biggest mistake was maybe listening to Dwight? If you cant make moves to make your star happy, why not clear enough cap space to get talent through free agency?

It seems that Otis has no connection at all in the league.

If Magic fans can't see this for what it is then i don't even know what to say anymore. I am so disappointed in Dwight. If ya'll want to give the keys to the franchise to an obviously immature super star like Cleveland did to Lebron then so be it. I support Otis 100 percent.

We notice that it's a cop out. espn tried to spin it that way for Lebron too. I don't see people siding with Otis here. Every year the fans have vocally called for him to be fired.

Both parties (Otis and Dwight) are wrong on their own accounts. And both are right.

The stupid thing to do is join a side, what THE MAGIC need to do is get this situation sorted out. Maybe if there wasn't such a lack of communication (as being painted) Dwight can stay and we can focus on the season coming.

By the way, anyone who wants to fire SVG...not going to bother.

Dirk Nowitzki did complain about a lack of support too .. He stayed and won a championship a year later, beating a so-called Superteam & he will be a hero to many ..

I'd rather follow that path than copy the Diva's

Up until these recent comments I was willing to give Otis the benefit of the doubt, but the latest quotes make him come across as either arrogant, an idiot, or an arrogant idiot.
