For the record, I'm a fan of Isiah. His plan failed, but I don't view him the way others do. I like Isiah a lot, to be honest.

Here's a good question: Who's the better GM, all things considered (drafts, contracts, trades) Otis Smith or Isiah Thomas?

lol it's straight... i don't use it very much to tweet or anything, just mostly to check on sports reporters/journalists/personalities and what not...

looks like no R. Williams to Magic
daldridgetnt David Aldridge
Several teams interested in Reggie Williams, rescinded by GSW to make room for DeAndre Jordan sheet. Williams worked out for Bobcats today.

BUT, you guys are crazy saying "don't give him what he wants, players are not gm's blah blah" it is not everyday you get a HOF player like him. Give him what the f he wants until the season is up, hopefully we can convince him into staying, if not at least we can say we gave it our all. Because I'll tell you what - it will probably take another 10 yrs to draft a player of his caliber..
Doing everything the primadona star wants worked so well for Cleveland. If Dwight Howard was a good GM he'd have a job as a GM, not as a basketball player.

Looks like Tidus from Final Fantasy X. Except not quite as gay (Sigh. I say this about my own namesake).
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.
- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

GOD, I can't stand hearing that argument. Being a GM doesn't take a degree in quantum physics.

Right im sure everyone on this message board thinks they'd do a great job, apparently so does Dwight. You are both wrong.

Didn't the Cavs turn down a trade of Hickson for Stoudemire while LeBron was there?

Otis has to go either way. What superstar will ever want to play for us if it looks like we don't treat our stars well? It doesn't matter if its true or not, it depends on how other stars see it.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part V)
I'm just amazed by this stuff. Jarrod on twitter comparing Otis to Isiah. My god. How many championship contenders did Isiah build? Again, i'm not saying Otis is the goat. But do the comparison. Look at other young superstars in the league and ask yourself how much playoff success they've had compared to us. But Otis is being compared to a GM who has not even put together a play off team? Is that where we are? How many GM's have had Otis' success over the past few years? And please don't tell me it was only Dwight, cause JJ (drafted) played a role, as did C-Lee (drafted), Rashard (Signed), Hedo, Rafer Alston (Traded for), AJ (signed), Bass (signed), Ryan (Traded for) all played a part as well. Sure he has had his busts, including Vince, and trading Ariza, and Gortat for scraps, but to compare the dude to Isiah is disturbing and revisionist history. But i apologize for getting in the way of you Otis bashing. Please continue...

Dwight Howard.
Edit: let me clarify. Even Thoms would have won games with Dwight Howard in the East.

Dwight Howard.
Dwight Howard.
Maybe if we say it enough he'll realize that Isiah didn't inherit a MVP caliber player.
