Alright, now I'm on the "what the *($& is going on" bandwagon.

I get that Memphis claimed they would match anything.

I did not believe that from that cheap bastard Heisley for one second - pure posturing to scare off the competition and get him cheaper.

Now this.

If Houston is thinking that they can get the griz to sign on to this, then why in the WORLD haven't we already kicked down a max S & T offer for him?!?!?!?

It is pretty much a given that Gasol is the ONLY one of the top end FA Centers in this group that is worth that money, so what is the reason for not ponying up and putting that offer out there? This would create a FAR more dominant front line than what the Flakers have put out there!

Gasol ain't worth the max in my opinion, and we should keep some flexibility when Evans and Cousins eventually come off their rookie deals anyway.

I think Petrie is being pretty shrewd this offseason.

Yeah, Gasol is probable worth less than Nene in the talent department, however, 4 for 55 ain't bad considering what Nene is asking for, downright steal worthy in fact, hahaha.

He's not worth it & they will match any offers. The Kings are $1 million below the minimum salary level. Don't expect them add anyone else. They won't be spending more than the 47 million they have to.
