NBA teams indeed notified that Rockets have claimed Lin off waivers after his release by Golden State

Excellent pick up. Will make a good third string.

Dubs fan here. It's a good pick-up for you guys. Lin still has a lot to develop, but he was a stand-up guy, great locker-room presence, tremendously hard worker and smart as hell. He'll be missed.

lol....well, i don't know bout that.

I'd like to think somethings gonna happen with Drag/Flynn sooner or later and thus making Lin the 3rd string PG.

Heh, you don't hire a Harvard grad just to be a basketball player.

If he makes the team, great. If he bounces around from D-League to overseas, fine. Even if he doesn't make the team, Morey would be interested in the lad for his technical and academic acumen. If Lin plays his cards right and has a good relationship with the front office, when Lin hangs up his sneakers he could get a job with the Rockets front office pretty easily.
