Joke with some sad truth to it.

Dwight seems to be VERY attentive to this strategy when the Lakers used it.

"hey dwight, no other city in the world can give you access to Hollywood and media exposure like Los Angeles. Have you ever thought about an acting career? You can make that happen here. Look at Shaq, he made several movies when he came to play in LA. Commercials, more exposure, it's all here, Dwight!" etc and etc you know the rest, no need to

The Lakers did this exact sort of pitch to Shaq, and it seems they tried again with Howard. Dwight is interested in this sort of thing too.

True, but the last time we tried something like that we had Baron "Beardman" Davis and his priority in trying to be a movie mogul taking precedence over playing basketball.

Baron is weird.

Dwight and Chris are more mature and focused than he is. Plus, there were no legit championship expectations with Baron and the Clippers.

Dwight and Cp3 want to win.

If you can get Paul and Howard for Gordon and blake as the MAIN ones going you got to do it. I know it would be more players going out. But you start adding more players after you get them. Paul and Howard want to play togather so they will sign with yall

Where are all these people coming from? Yeah lets trade our ROY that averaged 22, 12 & 4 and is the most exciting player in the NBA. Yeah he probably wont get any better at all. He wont improve his defense and he wont improve his jump shot. Yeah lets trade him for some one who does the exact same thing but blocks a few more shots & will be a max contract! :D

What we can't forget about Blake is that he's only played one full season in the NBA. There is no reason we should trade a player like him for someone else. We want to add and build around him. He is a hard worker and wants to change the state of this franchise. There aren't many players out there who feel that way.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

If Griffin suffers more injuries........you will kick yourself for not wanting to take Dwight ;/

The same would apply if Howard were to suffer an injury. Injuries can happen at any time, anywhere. Both are phyical freaks who are devoutly committed to staying in peak shape. Yeah, Griffin suffered a knee injury during what would have been his rookie season, but that was a really odd injury that didn't really endanger any ligaments. He came back to play the full season and even remarked that his knee felt stronger than before the injury. There really hasn't been any concern about Blake having a recurring injury [knock on wood]. In fact, Chris Paul's knees are more susceptible to serious injury than Griffin's.

Speaking of whom, you advocated overpaying by including Gordon in a trade package for Paul but latest reports are stating that a package without Gordon is set for approval. Yet you continue to push for Griffin being traded for Howard when no one else is reasonably expecting this to happen. What offers are out there? Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol? Brooks Lopez and two first-round picks? It's quite easy to advocate others into overpaying when you're not footing the bill.

Think of it this way: how likely would it be for the Thunder to trade Kevin Durant for Dwight Howard right now? Or Chicago with Derrick Rose? Heck, would the Lakers even trade an aging Kobe Bryant for him at this point?

And that's not to mention listening to Dwight Howard's latest "woe is me" act of not being listened to when his current team did whatever they could to surround him with talent to be competitive in an effort to keep him in the first place a la LeBron and Cleveland. Yeah, I'd rather pay the max to rent someone like this than have a stud on his rookie contract who is proactively making change while quietly leading by example.

Clip fans are right! Why should they offer Blake when they can offer a better package than the Nets&Lakers without including Blake? Offer Gordon+DJ S&T+future pick and see what happens...That is the highest Clippers should offer tbh. If Orlando doesn't like it f**k em and roll with cp,gordon, butler, blake and jordan.

Come on bro. Dwight: 2 time defensive player of the year and will collect a handful more.
Blake is a joy to watch but he'll never be the force that Howard is.

Dwight will never be the ball handler or passer Griffin is either. How many triple doubles does Dwight have? I'm going to go on a limb and say Griffin will be the leading reboundwe this season as well.

If I were a Clippers fan, I would want CP3+ Dwight IN A HEARTBEAT. You are stuck on Blake Griffin? Seriously?

Howard is about to enter his PRIME, and so is CP3. They are a match made in heaven. Are you serious?

NOT TO MENTION, the amount of SWAG AND RESPECT the Clippers would instantly gain for crapping all over the Lakers and taking both CP3 and Dwight where the Lakers failed to do.....

seriously........ I can't believe there are CLip fans that would rather have Blake Griffin over Dwight.

dude......

HAHAHA!!! Just wait until Blake Griffin enters his prime, are you freakin' kidding me?! The dude's a beast already. Last time a PF made the All-Star team in his rookie season was Tim Duncan, he turned out to be pretty good. ;)
