Metta World Peace was talking to a group of reporters at training camp when someone brought up his physique. Apparently, some scoundrel in the press wrote that Metta was out of shape and should be amnestied. Metta dismissed the cruel rumor as a joke, telling one female reporter, “If I showed you my abs right now, you’d probably leave your husband.” The Big Lead

Since it seems we've fallen back into depression in this thread.

Judging by Alex Martins comments, D12 won't be traded anytime soon so if that's the case who's the Magic going to bring in to keep D12 in town? Monta? Captain Jack? Iggy?

I actually think Wafer is an interesting addition here. That dude can score, I hope he gets a chance
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

yes- someone like dwight - when he gets his max he'll hover around 20 a year right? he's absolutely worth that money because of the money that he brings in - to the devos family, to the arena workers, to the city - if anything super duper stars like dwight and lebron are underpaid while role players are overpaid- the pro athlete's worth is different than that of the lay people- and that's just reality... and i'm okay with that- the collective entertainment these guys provide for the world and their talent and athleticism which is at a premium makes what they are paid justified.

Definitely think that we're going Monta then SJax. But nothing's going to happen until after CP3 gets traded, IMO.

Whoops. Don't mean we land for both, but if we do, it would be obvious that we go for Monta first. SJax ALONE is the most realistic player we can land for Dwight, with this roster. lol
