Well, Memphis says they're not trading OJ and Mark Jackson says he's been meeting privately with Ellis and is determined to turn him into a completely different player this year.

we would have virtually no starting pg.

yep looks like we are stuck with jameer for another year. maybe he will play better without the presence of gilbert but man his game peaked years ago and he got outplayed by hinrich in the playoffs.

but they've only been allowed to talk for a week or so? (and he was hired like mid-june so would have had 2 weeks top with him before rules were enforced)

Nah man, just these past days. I've been seriously reading over blogs and stuff in golden state and there seems to be a legit relationship being formed between these two guys, project like. You can look at what Ellis has been saying this past week or so too, he's saying he's gonna change, we're gonna see a whole new side of him, he's bought into Jackson's system, etc. I'd just hate to get our hopes up for nothing. Of course if the right trade came along he'd be dealt, but I don't think taking Biedrins is going to make them want to give us Monta as a thank you.

Thoughts?

If we got Jax you almost have to move Hedo.

But aren't Dwight and Hedo buddies? Or they used to be?

This....It would be redundant imo....For example we get BBD but to get him we had to amnesty Gil...What happened? Turns out Dwight didn't want Gil Amnestied....If we get SJAX but have to trade Hedo we'll probably end up hearing from Dwight he didn't want Turk traded......In the back of my mind i feel like Dwight is trolling us

If they stay healthy, they'll be a threat.

Wolves have long believed that Luke Ridnour has ample trade value ... and he must judging by the way Team PG is going after new guards

We need a back up PG, get us Ridnour.

When Dwight says we need guys that fight everynight, it's not hard to figure out he's talking about Hedo and Ryan...

Yeah, Dwight's love affair with Hedo was over when he stopped being aggressive and making buzzer beaters. Hedo claims he's 100% healthy for the first time in a while, so we'll see how he plays...
