The Clippers wouldn't give up all of that for a free agent(especially one who plays the same position as Jordan, who you have us keeping as well) and a nice fit at small forward.

Looking back through the thread I'm surprised at how much value Kaman still seems to have.
If you can actually trade him for Iggy you gotta do that

As a Mavs fan, I was hoping we could get him as rental for a year if Chandler bolts

I could see an under the cap team like the Kings or Nets offering some crazy money.

Since he'd want a S&T for that 5th year it'd make sense to get a 3rd team like you guys with an expiring center involved to take on a TPE + a pick
Kaman would for sure seem to be the most likely to have a bust out contract year like Chandler last year

Thing is, we're actually trying to win games and aren't looking to dump anyone to save some $.

Therefore Kaman will be either used as a filler(for the financial part) in trades, as we're trying to upgrade our team, or he'll be our 6th man/scorer off the bench.

So we certainly won't trade him just for some TPE + pick before the start of the season, even with the possibility of losing him for nothing.

Yeah I wasn't sure how eager you guys were to drop some salary to sign a better small forward

I guess it kinda depends on how cheap of a contract a guy like Prince would settle for and how much Deandre costs

Prince + Kaman would for sure seem to be better than just AK47 or someone like that

We first need to know what's up with DJ.

If we do re-sign him, then Kaman will still be on the trading block. If we don't, then Kaman's our starting center and going nowhere.

If we were to dangle Bogut/Jennings in front of you guys, are you interested, what would you offer?

Would you consider

Jennings/Bogut/Illyasova

for

Jordan/Beldsoe/Aminu/1st(MIN)

Jennings could be a concellation for losing Paul and would flourish back in LA, and Bogut is better than Jordan/Kaman.

Jennings
Gordon
Caron
Griffin
Bogut

looks like a 60 win team.

Jazz wont do that, I think you guys just need to sign Stevenson before Nets and you should have add Mo into NO deal for Okafor.

The Jazz traded Okur for a 2nd round pick lol, so don't say they wouldn't have done Mo for Okur
If the Clippers win the championship next year I'm getting banned from RealGM

I am going back and forth on whether I think the Clips should keep or trade Mo. Right now I would say keep him, because of his current open-minded positive attitude and that I can see him being that Jason Terry-like 6th man for us, especially going into the playoffs.

Though, my question would be if we should think about trading Bledsoe to a team like Utah. I know they don't have Okur anymore, but they still have a glut of bigs and a shortage at PG after Harris. I don't have any deals in mind that would work financially, but I'm just throwing out that idea.

Maybe Mo to Indiana for Dahntay Jones? This would be more of a financial move than anything... Clippers pay Jones 5.4 million over two years instead of paying Mo 17 million over two years. In addition, the Clippers would receive a trade exception worth 5.8 million. They could possibally use to trade exception in a sin and trade for somebody like JR Smith or Wilson Chandler, when they become available, or they could use it on somebody else. Plus, Jones could actually be useful since he has size at the SG position, is a good defender and slasher and is a improving shooter.

That makes sense. The only thing is, it seems like the Lakers and Clippers dont like to make trades with each other. Maybe this time could be different though. Mo would be a great fit with the Lakers. He is a great shooter, a better facilitator than Fisher and Blake and he was a all star playing for Mike Brown. The Clippers would gain a trade exception worth 8.5 million, which could be used to go after a shooting guard.

good trade for both teams, the clippers can get some money to spend on a 2 guard and big man, bledsoe can get some PT and the lakers can finally get a good point guard

Two quick trade ideas with the Wizards:

Bledsoe for Turiaf

Bledsoe + 2012 1st round pick for Blatche

Mack and/or Seraphin could probably be included in either of those trades as well if needed.

Thoughts?
