Jameer isn't our main issue, we need a slasher/iso-wing guy. If we had someone to create their own shot, Jameer could slip into the 3rd option on offense and I think he would play a lot better.

I really believe that the hawks series was a complete fluke. the fact that ALL of our guys shot at an abysmal percentage and the fact that the hawks hit almost everything is the blame. we were ice cold and they were hot. they gave chicago fits until they cooled off and returned to normal. we were also close in almost every loss. so if a half court heave and shots by Crawford from 30ft out don't fall at the buzzer then who knows? it was embarrassing but our team isn't trash. if we get another C we might have another '09 type of run awaiting.

Josh Smith lost 25 pounds? Man, I wish we could get him...

During the offseason, Smith changed his workout routine and his diet while losing 25 pounds. He now weights 225, which is his lightest since coming to the NBA straight out of high school.

After only a few days of drills, coach Larry Drew said, “He’s getting off his feet a lot quicker, getting to the rim and exploding, even more than he has in the past.

“I’m seeing and hearing a passion I haven’t seen before.”

“I’ve been in the league a while," said Smith. "My main concern now is winning. I want to win, no matter what the cost is. I want to be one of the elite teams in this league. My window isn’t closing, but it’s slowly going down. Before I get out of here, I want to accomplish some things.”

+1, But I put alot of that in our lack of an elite playmaker. As much as I like Jameer he's very limited in his playmaking abilities.

Fan yes.
No idea what's going on? I disagree.

Though this is just a what if scenario.

Why are these reported deals being rejected this year (besides the Chris Paul/David Stern mess)?

David West to Boston, Mayo to Pacers, and so on?

I relaize it happens from time to time, but it seems to be happening alot lately.

Just seems really strange.

Why people thinks SJax alone would be enough? He won't be, not by a Great Wall of China long shot.

"Aaron Gordon will cost Henny's job by Dec 2016." Predicted Dec 2014.

"O'Quinn will have a longer and more successful NBA career than Nicholson." Predicted Jun 2012. Verified on Dec 2014.

Everyone got outplayed outside of Howard, Jameer isnt the reason we lost that series. If being stuck with a Jameer means we have a good pg then I'll take. I dont understand why everyone tries to pin every loss on him. He didnt get outplayed by Hinrich. Look at Jrich and JJ..then go look at Crawfords stats.

Amen.

What is it about Jameer that makes people blame almost everything on him? When he is clearly our best perimeter player, and best player, period, not named Dwight Howard.

I think it would be truly amazing if we were able to make a trade to improve this team while keeping Jameer.

honestly i just don't see any moves to be made right now, and we all know we shouldn't make moves just to make moves (arenas). I think better opportunities will open up and the trade deadline and hopefully some of our guys play into some trade value. I would hate to see more midseason trades though

I'm hoping something happens soon. Orlando has to make a deal to keep D12 happy. Where did DJ and Nemesis go? This thread needs more tweets. lol
