Ben Gordon will now be the starting SG for the Pistons unless Brandon Knight and Stuckey surprises everybody.
I'm a bit disappointed that Crawford rejected the offer but, there are still options i believe.

I guess Maxiell sucks too. They could amnesty him.

Star says Crawford didn't take the offer.

I'm guessing that Crawford just didn't want to be in Indy for some reason other than money. He's considering the MMLE in New York (2 yrs/$6 million), and Portland is the other big one (where, with Brandon Roy retiring, looks like they need a starting 2 guard potentially).

I'm guessing that at his point in his career, he wanted to go somewhere he fit a little better initially, or that fit his needs a bit more.

I'd stay away as from as possible from this guy, but lucky for us i think he's down to between 3 western conference teams or the Chicago Bulls. Hamilton is not very good anymore, and that is the problem. Because he believes he is very good. He won't accept a less of a role when his production isn't where we'd hope. That's exactly what happened in Detroit, and he started a mutiny to get rid of their head coach because Hamilton was upset.

The upside to Crawford turning us down is Lance might get a real shot at cracking the rotation. Had Crawford signed, Lance would have been nailed to the bench, barring an injury.

Now, our back-court rotation will be Danny/Dahntay, Paul George/Lance, Collison/Hill.

^ Yeah. It was obviously not about winning. It's like an old dog choosing to sit on his old spot.
