the packers will go 19 - 0 because of Tim Tebow

Post#1 » by Max-Power » Tue Dec 13, 2011 7:19 pm

OK its crazy but hear me out. Everyone has been amazed by the packers run at perfection. They say the pressure gets to be too much late in the season and its better to lose a game to remove that pressure so you can focus on the Superbowl run in the playoffs. There are few things that draw hype and distraction more then going for a perfect season. It would take a miracle for something bigger, more story worthy to come along. ENTER TIM TEBOW. The packers are marching toward perfection and are able to stay lose because of the media frenzy that is Tebow. He is our Aragorn diverting the gaze of Sauron so that Frodo (Rodgers) can sneak in to perfection.
“The greatest happiness is to scatter your enemy, to drive him before you, to see his cities reduced to ashes, to see those who love him shrouded in tears, and to gather into your bosom his wives and daughters.” - Ted Thompson

All teams will be 19-0 next year, because of Tebow.

For the record, if Tebow were Quarterbacking the Packers, we would ALREADY be 19-0 and a 4-0 2012 preseason would be achieved by Sunday.

You can't really deny that he has a point. The 12-0 packers got about as much attention as a team trying to go 4-0. The patriots were so hyped up when they were going for theirs. Nobody even noticed the packers going 13-0. Jennings getting hurt got more press. I don't know if it is the media trying not to jinx it or something but it is like nobody cares. Everyone just talks about Tebow and his conquests.

The media isn't going as crazy as they did for the Pats, because they made a run at perfection just 4 years ago. The Packer's run isn't something new that hasn't been done for decades.

Yeah but the difference is far too large. The media isn't going crazy at all. Its like they think the packers are at 11-2 or something. They say they are the best team in the league but never talk about perfection. Which is great for me.

I think part of it is that they realize that the chiefs and bears have no chance so we are likely going to be 15-0. Then the same people who said the lions would win in Detroit over us but not in GB will be saying Detroit will beat the 15-0 packers. That game should get a lot of hype.

The only thing I'm a bit worried about is the target that seems to have been put on our hearts. Not that it shouldn't have been expected, but it really seemed like after the replay system "malfunctioned", the Raiders seemed to make it their goal to hurt every player on the team.

I don't think they were trying to hurt anyone. They were just being aggressive after getting demolished 31-0.

I didn't listen but SVP talked about it yesterday apparently. Is Tebow taking pressure off the Packers? I'm gonna download his show and see what he said.
