I actually wouldn't be surprised if Barea started for the first 2 or 3 games. Particularly if Rubio struggles in the 2 pre-season games. Adelman might want to ease him into the nba as much as possible.

maybe not right of the bat but 10-15 games into the season it should be brilliant or bust time for Rubio, wouldnt surprise that he starts for wolves from there on. After all, we did not draft him 5th and waited two year for a backup PG

Rickasso. If he's truly an artist as a passer he has a nice canvas to paint on with Wes, DWill, Beas and Randolph slashing to the basket for him.

I think we should get used to the thought of seeing two of Barea, Rubio, and Ridnour on the court together at the guard positions like Dallas did last year.

Maybe Ridnour will be traded as part of a deal for a SG, but for some reason, I'm thinking the TWolves like having the idea of having two of these guys on the court together - for at least stretches of the game.

I would doubt it. If Luke's still here, it's going to be tough to get all 3 consistent minutes and if somebody's minutes are going to be cut it's probably Ridnour's.

It'll still be either Rubio or Ridnour... I assume Rubio. Two reasons: 1.) after today, Barea will have missed the first 6 days of a shortened camp and 2.) Barea's value is as an offensive sparkplug... we don't need that with the starters.

They obviously like Barea over Ridnour, or they wouldn't have signed him. I also think camp is overrated. It's good to have experience and be familiar with a system, but you see players traded and start the next day all the time.

Since the fans have waited two years to see the intriguing Rubio, I think there is no chance Barea starts over him.

The bottom line is that this is entertainment, and the ticket-buying fans want to see Rubio.

Barea said in his twiter that he will accept come from the bench. If he said that is cause somebody talk about that, so i think Ridnour will start if he is not traded. But the important, like Ricky said, is who finish the game.

Barea is overrated. Most of the people know him because of the play off run, but dont know how badly he sucked in the regular season. The guy is nothing special at all, he can play pick and roll with Dirk better than anyone else but thats it. No Dirk, no fun, undersized tweener PG.

P.S. Ricard ''Ricky'' ''The face'' Rubio. Yeah, that sounds great... :nonono:
