That's actually how we've been doing it for about 10 years now but with the bottom 3 and top 3:

No problem. I figured with the Giants game being on or people that attend church, Sunday afternoon is an odd time to hold a draft.
Yea that's actually how I was thinking... but I figure people could watch the game and draft at the same time. Church is usually 11am to 12pm for me so I figure it would give enough time to head back. I was planning on eating home instead of eating out like I usually do Sunday afternoons. I may attend the 9am service instead of the 11 just in case. Again, if 90% of the peeps can't make it we can reschedule the time but so far it looks like the majority can make it. Sorry man, it's just this lockout shortened season. Next season we'll be back in proper form

Thanks again!
No prob man, if you didn't get the invite just drop me an email at knickfan07 AT yahoo. It's been hectic this year due to the lockout so a lot of things have been rushed and incidentally missed.

Re: fantasy league thread
Is this a 10 or 12 man league?
I see over the past two years it's been a 12 team league, but as of right now... I believe we're currently at 10 members.
I've been practicing my overall draft strategy, but I'll have a much better idea once finding out if we're in a 10 or 12 man league.
Thanks.

It's always been a 12 team league for about 10 years now, just waiting on some managers to check in

Mine has been going on since 2002 and all records will reflect whatever happened in mine. It doesn't matter if you won in his or anyone else's league, the records will only reflect if you've won in this one.
The thievery wouldn't have been so bad, but he locked your threads too. . . .
but why dwell on the past.
and, howdy Knicksfan.
for those who don't know, Knicksfan was the first Knicks board moderator. In the early days of RealGM, not all the boards had moderators, it was much more anything goes back then.
if there's still room, I'd be interested. Edski88@yahoo.com
but if there isn't room, no big. I'm not a big fantasy leaguer anyway.
Knicksfan singlehandedly turned the board from an R rating to a G rating.

Re: fantasy league thread
Thoughts on a practice pre-mock draft? I was drafting 9th overall.
1. Carmelo Anthony (NY - SF,PF)
2. Amar'e Stoudemire (NY - PF,C)
3. Chris Bosh (Mia - PF,C)
4. Brook Lopez (NJ - C)
5. Elton Brand (Phi - PF,C)
6. Andrew Bynum (LAL - C)
7. DeMar DeRozan (Tor - SG,SF)
8. Kyrie Irving (Cle - PG)
9. D.J. Augustin (Cha - PG)
10. DeJuan Blair (SA - PF,C)
11. Shawn Marion (Dal - SF,PF)
12. Baron Davis (Cle - PG)
13. Glen Davis (Orl - PF,C)
As you can see, I went with all BIG's to solidify my frontcourt for a long season. After the Bynum pick, I started to focus on younger, talented guards.
Starters:
PG: Irving
SG: DeRozan
SF: Carmelo
PF: Amare
C: Bynum
Utility Starters:
PG: D.J. Augustin
PF: Bosh
PF: Brand
PF: Blair
C: Brook Lopez
Bench:
Marion
Big baby Davis
Baron Davis.
Thoughts?

Re: fantasy league thread
I tried to accept my invite to the Roto league but it said someone has already taken ownership of it.
If someone took my spot, that is fine. if possible I would like to switch over to H2H league. Let me know if there is still room in any of the leagues. Thanks.

Ok, thanks got the invite.
Is that draft time final? It's around the same time as the Knicks Open Practice.
If it is, I guess I will just pre-rank.

Yea we were a little pressed for time this season due to the lockout. Things will be more flexible when we're back to normal next season.

Is there a way I can also be switched to the H2H league instead of the Roto league? Thanks in advance, but regardless, I'm giving it my all no matter which league I'm in.

Again, FWIW I'd support adding any two of these guys on the list to the Varsity H2H so we'd have 12, including Jstarks3 who's expressed interest in playing again in this thread.
