Melvin said in the Ramirez presser today that they are preparing as if they will have Braun available for the entire season. I know it could be nothing but I'm guessing he knows exactly what is going on. Braun was quoted in JS again today saying that it's complete BS. All the details that I have read point to him not using PEDs and possibly not even getting suspended. I can't see why he would do it and if he did why he would lie about it. I can't wait for the first time Braun is allowed to speak on the issue, really want to hear what he has to say.

You would have to think Melvin would be aware about the specifics of it at this point, but he's not gonna say they're preparing to have him out for the first 50 games regardless.

I have a source now and it makes complete sense and if this source is right Braun will be completely exonerated. It's not an STD but I'm not going to disclose what it is since I don't think it's anybody's business.

I will say if it is true it's a disease that cause hyperthyroidism which causes elevated testosterone levels.

What disease would cause elevated synthetic testosterone levels though? Or would the synthetic testosterone be from the medicine? In that case, even if it's necessary medicine, wouldn't it give Braun an unfair advantage? I don't follow.

I'm not sure the synthetic testosterone thing was ever really confirmed, could be wrong though.

it would be nice if braun actually did end up being exonerated, so that all these 'guilty-til-proven-innocent' spewers of vitriol and 'reporters' deriding him without all the facts in could be held up to the same, but warranted, scrutiny they're heaping on him. probably won't happen, but just sayin' it would be nice.
