baron didn't want to be here, this worked out best and is something i predicted a while ago (well i said buyout, but w/e).
now the cavs will notch a few less wins this year which is good. they will have lots of cap space next year which could potentially be v bad tho.

This is making me wonder even more who is supposed to score for the Cavs. Sure they are going to be terrible, but will they even score 70ppg this year?

IMO, the Cavs might have opened up cap space to take on a good young player from a capped out team.

Who cares who scores. The Cavs are bad. 6 and 60 bad. BD would make them 11 and 55 bad. Is there a difference? Good move by the front office.
BTW have you seen the Cavs sched? 9 of the first 12 on the road. With a young team. Good luck Byron Scott.
I can handle a bad year this year. At least we have Kyrie and TT to watch.

You put young guys in a habit of losing and it takes years to teach them how to do anything else.

To an extent that's true, but realistically only about 4 guys on this team will be here in three years, and two of those didn't experience the losing of last season.
Still suprised they pulled this off, although if he is out nearly 2 months it starts making a lot more sense. Hopefully he can find his way to New York and save Gilbert some cash.

Good Luck Baron,
I just wish we would have had you before the mileage added up on your body. You where a class guy and I truely wish you the best. Cleveland appreciates an upstanding player that can take direct even when you had a history what that coach (based on what we heard was coming here on information only through the media).
Love to see you land in NY and get a ring after you heal up. Get well soon.
To all Cavs fans. Your owner is up to something
Be greatful there looks like a plan.

I've always liked Baron. He's quite a showman. I hope he gets healed up and joins a contender that I don't despise.

Well, hopefully thats what we use the cap space for, to bring in the right vet(s) to fill out the roster and bring in the winning mentality that the younger players may not have acquired yet. I know you remember the 86-87 Cavs with Harper, Daugherty and Price, they really didnt takeoff until the Nance trade that rounded out the starting lineup and brought a proven vet who was a true professional.
