Why you guys hatin on wafer so much, I mean yea he lookd like n idiot celebrating a missed dunk but it ain't like the dude sux, otis did say sumthin pretty dumb but considering the dude dropped 19 per game in italy says he can score quite a bit, he has shown he can average 10 a game in the nba, so he can easily replace redick if we trade him, he can shoot the 3 real well also which is perfect for this team and is way more atheltic then redick, this board has been screamin for athleticism

I'm still not sure I understand how the Lopez+picks thing works....from a trade perspective. The salaries don't even come close to matching, what are all the rules on that? They claimed they would take Dwight+Hedo for Lopez+picks, but this isn't allowable it seems, I've asked this a few times, but nobody seems to have replied with the answer. How does that work? And then also, could you flip Bynum for Lopez+picks? I wonder if NJ would do that if we told them we weren't willing to trade Dwight, but we would give Bynum...Magic and Nets seem to hate each other now, so I dunno....there is a team option on Bynum next summer, so it would be a way for NJ to clear a lot of caproom to go after some FAs (maybe Dwight if he would rather go to NJ with Deron as opposed to stay in LA) but if so, and then you flipped Pau....you could have

Meer/Dragic
Martin/JJ
Jrich/Q
Scola/BBD/Ryan
Lopez/Ryan/Orton

PLUS you would have NJ's 1st round pick, Houston's 1st round pick in a super deep draft next summer. Now that could be a way to rebuild on the fly without fielding a crappy team on the court. JJs is an expiring next yr. Meer has a player option (which he will prob take). I think the salary of this lineup is only like $60mil. If we let JJ, Orton, Dragic go, maybe trade Ryan for picks...we would be at like $50 mil next summer, while still having a great core to build around and possibly 3+ good 1st round picks for next summer.
PLUS you would have Jersey's pick (which might be good if it's Deron+Bynum, esp if Bynum was to go down)

Look at all the guys we have now

guards: Meer, Duhon, Von Wafer, JJ, JRich, Hughes, Q, Liggins, Pruitt

forwards: BBD, Hedo, Ryan, Harper

centers: Dwight, Orton

I mean.....we have 4 different guys who can play the 4 spot (all who could deserve minutes too)....and I guess Hedo, JRich, Q could play the 3, even though JRich and Q are more suited to the 2.

Only one real guy who can play the 5 spot in Dwight, I doubt Orton is ready to fill that role yet.

But we have NINE guys who can play the PG/SG spot? I mean....there has to be some sort of a trade coming at some point soon here...?

Ok...all the optimism i has these past few days...throw it out the window..Let's just trade this fool already...it's clear he wants out and since apparently he's allowing his Agent to stir up this shltstorm lets get him out of here if we get a good deal.....He's becoming too much of a distraction....What makes me sad is the realization that Dwight is basically doing the same thing Lebron is just in a different way...I respect his decision but why jerk the organization and fans around by pretending to give us a shot to convince him to stay.....The fact that him allegedly "CHANGING HIS MIND" everyday could be just some ploy kind of tarnishes his good standing with me a bit....Doesn't Dwight realize people would respect him a bit more if he just TOLD THE TRUTH himself...Him doing this behind the scenes is making him look worse imo...facing the music would restore some of the respect i lost for dude

He'll be our backup behind Redick. Doesn't really look to distribute that much. Brings scoring and energy to the table.

Likely a back up 2 , tho I wonder if he can backup nelson since duhon sux, but hughes may b picked up for that tho he may need to earn that spot, pruitt idk if he will make it even tho he's probably better then duhon, lol, liggins pruitt n hughes are on make good contracts...I believe, hope liggins stays, n hughes if he's kinda back also, pruitt idk who he is, lol
