Lebron and Durant putting in some work!

Post#1 » by bemzk » Thu Dec 15, 2011 6:09 am

These videos have been posted on the general board so i thought we at the Heat board should post them at here aswell. Lebrons jumper is looking very good, obviously not as quick and smooth as Durant´s.

These videos make me excited for the upcoming season.

Cool videos, but we all know this. Lebron works, he works hard. Hes got a great worth ethic. Thats not what lets people down. Its all mental. Im telling you, in the finals, there was something wrong with him, mentally. He stopped being aggressive, he needs to fix that to be great. Of course, he needs to keel working out but it doesnt surprise me.

Lol wasn´t that Norris Cole saying to pay him 2500 dollars each? didn´t think he was working out with Lebron and Durant, would have liked to see Chalmers spending the summer with those guys.

^ Don't think that's Cole but they did workout in Ohio at some point.

I know it's just a practice video, but his moves in the post seemed pretty fluid. Last season whenever we saw footage of him working with Spo/other coaches he looked incredibly robotic and even in highlights you'd see him bricking close range shots.

Can't wait to see if he's really improved.

Playing in the post is as much about being comfortable as it is about having the moves. I'm guessing extensive practice over the summer has definitely worked on his comfort and confidence level down on the block. He's definitely looking more fluid than he has in the past
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

His shooting form looks better. Looks like he has a quicker release now, which I'm not sure if that's a good thing.. since he might just catch and shoot..

Its definitely a process. Even looking fluid in practice is just another step, the next question is can he do it in a game type situation. Definitely something to look for in tonight's scrimmage.

As opposed to holding the ball til there's 1 second left on the shot clock, with the defender in his grill, and THEN shooting? I think I'd be ok with that

Just saying I don't want him to start chucking the ball each time he has a chance. I want him and Wade to drive as much as possible.
