He didn't get $7m a year. He probably got a portion of our MLE, or possible even the minimum, which any team can use at any time, regardless of cap situation.

I really hope we get to see all of our roster play minus Duhon I've seen enough of him.

But, having watched the video of Dwight singing at the reporters yesterday, I have to say I just cannot see him staying here. I know you have to be guarded in what you're saying but I also feel Dwight should recognise this is a huge talking point and a lot of fans of his and the Magic want to know what is going. That's the first time ever yesterday that I've seen a side of Dwight that I didn't like. It could just be me but it was almost like 'I'm going soon, so what?' Whilst I have enjoyed Dwight's time here, it's over. I would never trade him for that New Jersey offer but if I could get a package from the Bulls, Thunder, Blake Griffin straight up or a better deal from the Lakers, I think it's time to come to terms with Dwight has been gotten to and isn't going to change his mind. He doesn't want to be in Orlando or a player on the Magic anymore.

I take his ignoring questions about whether he's staying or going as him committing to the Magic while he's here. He still wants to win. And when he gets out of practice, he doesn't want to hear about NJ or L.A. If anything he compartmentalizes. If I just got out of practicing with my teammates, I would want to keep the talk to basketball too. The season is a little over a week away.

Fair comment dude. It's possible, I guess it's how you read into it but I felt his PR was poor there. Got a neutral friend of mine (Rockets) to look at it and he felt similar.

MagicalNBA (@MagicalNBA)Magic talking again to lakers about gasol/Bynum/artest for d12/Hedo/duhon deal. I personally think it would make us better IMO.

MagicalNBA (@MagicalNBA)
Magic could also try and 3 way it so Bynum is moved for a player like Iggy and they keep gasol to play c next to big baby.

Don't know if he's reliable but food for thought

What kind of deal do you think AK47 will get from New Jersey? Could we sign him for full MLE?

Should we be interested in that Rockets deal with CP3?

I'd take Bynum, KMart, Scola, Dragic.....thats a lineup right there. Send Pau to Houston

Also starting to like the thought of D12 leaving, which I never thought I'd say. I know we are going to get a good offer here soon, basically rob a team of all their talent. I would love to trade with OKC, Miami, LA+Houston, or maybe get some other team involved to make nets work so we can get back at least one all star. Brook Lopez is a joke and dwight and every other C will dominate him..

I was just thinking... why wouldnt Deron want to go to NOL? think about the team they will have next season...

Deron
Gordon
Aminu
?Landry
Okafor

All while still having 2 lotto picks in the deepest draft since 03, that team could be very good IMO especially if they could add lets say Sullinger/Drummond to play with Deron and Gordon wow.

I think the only reason the Rockets were doing that deal is because they were clearing cap room to try and get another C to play with Pau, I dont see them doing that deal now as all the centers are gone.

Am I the only one who thinks signing Clark is just the tip of the iceberg for today? Cp3 traded yesterday, probably going to see a lot of movement, maybe we'll get in on a trade today too.

Now that Earl is signed, who will we sign for backup center?

Options:
- Steven Hunter
- Reggie Evans
- Dalembert
- Przybilla

last think I wanna do is get Bynum and find out no body wants him due to his knees. If we are trading for him it should be a three way deal him going somewhere else.

Maybe I'm imagining it......but it's starting to seem like there's nothing we could do to get him to stay.

If so, I hope some team hurries up and ponies up. I think LA might fold, they just lost CP3 to their roomates, and reports are that they are pissed about it.....

Maybe they will be willing to give up an Gasol and Bynum, now. I know most of the board won't be happy, but the league views them both highly.

Rockets were about to give up Martin/Scola for Gasol, and Bynum has been involved in trades for multiple superstars (Melo, Garnett, Chris Paul). If it doesn't work out, we could always get something valuable for them.
