Why do people think Stan doesn't play rooks or 1st year players? If you can't grasp the scheme, no soup for you. Lee did well.

What do you mean you like what he's doing??? Nothing???

Well, if he hadnt traded for Arenas and Jrich last season we would be in a much better situation, so if Otis isnt doing anything is better for us.

At this point I think less is more with Otis, for a man with the supposed connection with GSW you would think he has an inside track on Monta

He resigned JRich and Clark, plus brought in a better PF in Davis. Von Wafer adds depth as well. We will have to see what Harper, Liggens and Orton can do.

The only spot I think we need to improve is PG. Maybe bring in Davis.

half of me is joking but the other half is leery....i mean how complicated can his system be that players can get so confused? i mean in Chicago Tom Thibbideau can get his guys going Year 1 why is that not the case with Stan?

I still say we shouldn't have amnestied Arenas so fast. Should have kept him for the season and then our PG spot would have been set. All that would be left is to find a veteran big to backup Howard, unless the Magic truly believe Orton is ready.

Clearly the Magic believe more in Hedo than Arenas at this point. Plus his contract made it hard for us to maneuver and add players, so it had to be done unfortunately. I also think his twitter antics during the lock added to the decision to cut him.

Yeah, I saw that. I'm understand NJN's strategy, they're trying to clear a bunch of cap space for Dwight, but it's going to leave them with a bunch of guys on one-year, expiring deals, who they will have to renounce before they can offer Dwight a contract in free agency. They've got to sell him on Deron, Brooklyn and nothing else (which may not be a hard sell in some respects), but what happens next summer if the guys who on the free agent market aren't interested in signing for New Jersey for the minimum, which is basically what they are going to have to offer?

Medical insurance probably would cover his contract.

They did BRoy right by sending him off with his money. He fought for that squad. Sucks he's done but Crawford for a year or two will give them time to develop a Roy replacement or bring one in.

IIRC, don't think his contract was insured because the knee problems were pre-existing and so severe.

if you do the laker trade i would think that it would because you have a taker for one of the bigs in another deal...iggy,ellis something along those lines...if its ellis both him and pau come of same year along with baby and you could start planning towards that summer ...it will give you alot of flexibility in the offseason 3 yrs from now ..... i dont know that we would be instantly worse if you do a trade like this , defensively yes you would be...but offensively you get better right away... u still have a big to run the offense through along with a slasher...

I really don't want to do that Pau and Bynum trade..... It just seems like a trade for the inevitable rebuilding process.

I don't like the Nets deal either.... But the Nets have more leverage at this point....
