In all seriousness, I'm actually a little leery about Kris because of the divorce. The NBA is full of professionals who work through life issues, but Hump strikes me as the kind of guy who might let his off-court woes bleed into on-court frustration. I'm glad we're going hard at AK-47, with a one-year deal.

People respond to tragedy differently. I happen to think that Kris will now need to play really hard because he wants to prove everyone wrong and that he's doing well on his own. If he wants another girl, he'll need to put up more beastly numbers.

Maybe he'll try to force things to much but it's not like he's a shooter. We need him to be motivated and angry. He's gotta attack the basket and grab boards.

Hump will be his beastly, underskilled self again. He either needs to be re-signed or we need to make a move for a veteran, starting caliber 4 if we have any hope whatsoever of making a push for a middle to bottum seed this year. Going into the season with AK47 as our starting 4 would be disasterous, due to both health and matchup issues. That said, I don't think Hump will take one year, but AK47 probably will... I'd give him a shot, if Deron's cool with it and it wouldn't aversely affect our ability to trade for Dwight.

NYDNInterNets Stefan Bondy
Deron Williams says he recommended Shawne Williams to Billy and also Andrei Kirilenko

Deron on Kirilenko: “For the right price, he’s a bargain. He’s a great player. He can help a team definitely in many ways.”

More Deron on Kirilenko: “He can play 3 or 4 positions. He’d definitely be a great asset to have.”

I think I might have to go with AK, simply because having Humphries next to Brook detracts from Brook's trade value.

How is this even a question. The obvious answer is AK... Hump was a stat padder last year all he went for was rebounds and finishing the basket... I thought he was highly overrated even though I liked him. AK will make such a huge difference for us if we sign him.

Agreed, Otis Smith obviously drafted Lopez in his fantasy basketball league and was pissed at his rebounding numbers.

Those need to go up before he accepts the trade.

lol, I'm not sure how sarcastic you're being but his rebounding numbers going up will help his trade value immensely.

Which former Utah Jazz player should you choose? Oh I know ask another former Jazz player(Deron) who you should choose?

AK plays like an All-Star for a third of the season. If you pay him 1/3 what an Allstar is worth you will love him.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

are you guys hurting for rebounding? Ak all the way.. course he gets injured easy...

If you run the offense in a run and gun style AK will really shine, he's not a post up or heavy rebounding.

Yeh were meant to be going up tempo this season with the youth & age of our roster. Deron Williams is our oldest player at 27 which is crazy.
