We need someone to come off of the bench behind Jordan. We have Thompkins (Rookie) and Brian Cook at the moment.

Also, according to Eric Pincus, we have a $3.8M trade exception.

Craig Smith is headed to Portland to join former teammate Marcus Camby.

It's going to suck having to go up against Rhino, but I'm happy that he's been signed.

Anything positive I can take from this as a Blazer fan? I was hoping for a guy that was better rebound then Mr.Smith

He is a good low post scorer, using his bulk to score inside. He probably weighs more like 275 lbs instead of his listed weight. For a reasonable contract, he will work out OK for the Blazers.

Przybilla is still a FA. It's uncertain still how he'll perform after his knee injuries but for a short contract i think he's worth the risk.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

Rhyno's a pretty solid rebounder and a guy you can throw it to in the low post.

Though, he's not the greatest defender as he's a bit short for a guy playing the 4 spot.

Przybilla is either going to play for the Blazers or retire IMO. He's also not coming back until after the holidays, as he's trying to spend time with his family.

BTW: I think we should take a hard look at DJ Mbenga and also look whats out there in trades for a guy like Mo Williams.

How about Deshawn Stevenson? He can play 2 and 3, good defender and can hit open 3's
For C, i think Ryan Hollins, Haddadi and Armstrong are best FA options...
Sorry if my english is bad :)
