Clips done coming off the bench! RT @QuanM_11: @TheRealJRSmith would u rather go to the LA Clippers or back to Denver Nuggets

Thats what u think RT @ItsMatt30: @TheRealJRSmith You Wouldn't Start For The Clips. Come Back To Denver!

Not going to lie NY would be nice! @carmeloanthony start over in the big apple!

Always wanted to wear that black n the red wit the #bulls since 23

Lol RT @bigsexxi42: @TheRealJRSmith ummmm bring your talents to LA, thanks.. Lol

Would be amazing to have him start at 2, but he'd have to step up his concentration @ defense.

We already have 2,000 Guards on the Roster, time to get a back-up Center.

Billups, Foye, Butler, and even Mo can play 2. We really need to focus on a backup center. If we trade foye or Mo in order to get that center than we shoucl consider a 2 guard, but I dont think JR Smith is the guy we want on our team.

Like I said before, SG's in this league are getting stronger and longer every year. This year we hasve guys like Paul George (6-10) playing SG. You can't go at them with a Billups or Mo williams.

JR Smith mentions Clippers as possible destination

He's a shot jacker. Need a taller, traditional 2 guard.

Isn't JR Smith playing in China. We wouldn't even be able to get him until their season is over. He is talented, he has a lot of offensive ability. I'm not sure how much effort he wants to put in on defense and he needs to mature. I would only be OK to sign him for 1 year at the minimum.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

If i can choose between afflac (afflalo) and smith, afflac is the better of the 2 as a 'traditional 2'. Afflac is the better defender, but both i think have a pretty similar offensive game, smith can take people off the dribble though and i think afflac is the better spot up shooter.

Anybody would rather have Arron Afflalo, but he's not unrestricted.

His contract in China will end in March. The only other ways for him to come before then is to be bought out or have his contract terminated.

Smith is the only one that could potentially Smith back. He has a lot of talent, but it's just got to be harnessed. I wouldn't mind the pick up if he would come for $2.5M late in the season. Neil has been talking about good character/lockeroom guys, so it's possible that he wouldn't really be considered.

I think JR Smith is the most restricted of all right now...unless someone/some team can swing a deal with the Chinese team.

But we know that there's going to be some moves in relation to the PG's, we aren't keeping all of them going into the future, and non of them is a permanent solution at SG.

It isn't impossible to go out and target two things, but I do believe that for this season, nothing has to be done for SG. Next season though, when: Randy Foye and Billups are FA's and Mo Williams has a player option, decisions are going to have to be made. Mo Williams is good trade fodder, I like him, but he won't be happy with his role moving forward.

As long as Bledsoe continues to improve, he's most likely the backup PG of the future. But going into next season, the two most capable SG's out of the PG's (Foye and Billups) will be free agents. Even right now, it doesn't seem like there will be many minutes for Foye, so he's also a guy one can look to move.

If Foye or Mo could be traded for a big, my suggestion would be signing Deshawn Stevenson.

Why would you want a guy who says "tired of coming off the bench?" Look at Lamar Odom who came off the bench for the betterment of the team when he would start for any other team. JR Smith is a clown who doesn't care about anyone but himself.

I suspect the Bulls to look at Stevenson and I wouldn't want J.R. Smith his shot selection is terrible.

JR Smith although talented is not a good fit for our team.

Do you think CP3 is gonna like playing with him after playing with Billups?

I'd rather move Butler to 2 and start Gomes or Martin at 3 instead.
