Who to start?

Post#1 » by Packfan12 » Thu Dec 8, 2011 2:20 am

I need to start 2 of these 4 players: Hakeem Nicks, Victor Cruz, Laurent Robinson or Miles Austin.
Who would you start?

I'd probably go Nicks and Cruz. They're both Healthy and are both #1a and #1b WR for the Giants. Both Austin and Robinson have injuries. With a healthy Dez and not knowing how much or little Austin is going to take away from Robinson makes me leary where as both Cruz and Nicks have a trend coexisting and being able to put up big numbers in the same week.

Jet DST (at home against Palko and the Chiefs) or the Seahawks DST (at home against Brandstater and the Rams)?

I'm seriously tempted to go with the Seahawks. The Jets can't get a pass rush going and their run defense isn't that great. The Seahawks have a surprisingly good D and should be able to turn the ball over a TON. Am I getting too cute here?

Cruz and Nicks or Austin (as long as Austin is playing, right or wrong, Robinson is going to see his value decrease big time he'll still be a threat and a great football option he just won't be a great fantasy option).

---

I need to start 1 of the following WR (my other WR's are Austin and Robinson (bench), per above I was planning on starting Austin):

Julio Jones
Erick Decker
Jonny Knox

And 1 of the following RB:

Marion Barber
BenJarvus Green-Ellis*

*I'm pretty much leaning towards Green-Ellis I just want a second opinion.

First week of the playoffs and I'm in trouble. My WR Core is crap

Starting V Jax and S. Moss in PPR but looking for one more since Maclin looks to be out again.

Do I roll with Cooper in Maclins place vs Miami, Breaston Vs. Jets or Collie vs. Baltimore?

I'm in trouble a bit too. My entire team is on the road basically. Don't know who to start in WR2 and FLEX

PPR League

QB Tom Brady (NE - QB) @Den
WR Wes Welker (NE - WR)@Den
WR Torrey Smith (Bal - WR)@SD
RB Marshawn Lynch (Sea - RB) @Chi
TE Rob Gronkowski (NE - TE)@Den
W/R Nate Washington (Ten - WR) @Ind
Anquan Boldin (Bal - WR) @SD
Toby Gerhart (Min - RB) NO
Ryan Grant (GB - RB) @KC
LeGarrette Blount (TB - RB) DAL

I think I'm playing the right guys here, been teetering between Torrey Smith and Boldin all year.
FYI I had Jamaal Charles and Demarco Murray before they got hurt.

*EDIT: Oh and I have Neil Rackers and Miami DEF

I think you can start from the players who have a more experience and professional on work and gives good opening.
